I assume it maybe the theme that is causing it but don’t know how to rectify it… any suggestions?

On Chrome – and downloaded I see both of these images as being the same…

it is impossible to take a screenshot…. a screenshot would simply by of the area where a caption is added.

I have tried this on two separate websites on two different computers…
ie.. got o Caption and try to add a hyper link within the Caption text… nothing appears to happen… close the image window and the ‘add hyperlink’ option has ‘popped under’ but adding a link doesn’t work…

Try it yourself? ie add a link to within the text of a Caption…

BUT…. there is no character count visible which is a pain…

It is likely to do with a permissions issue on one of the folders. My problem arose after adding a plugin. I contacted hosting technical support.

Many thanks for the comments… I don’t like jumping to the ‘Google’ whistle… and do use the webpagetest etc… I think what I have is okay and probably better than most.
