In reply to: Feedback on Cart 66 (decapitalized)You mean:
“Please use small scaps to name your titles as all caps may be interpreted as a rude remark” .
The reply:
“Please *stop* posting your titles in all caps. It’s *insanely rude*.” Is openly and directly rude statement without doubt. Thanks for the suggestion and letting me know, although I would have preferred to have received the feedback in a nicer mannner. I meant no harm.

In reply to: Templatic Market Theme – ReviewIpstenu,
As feedback, it would be great for you to choose subtle, friendly, formal words with the forum users such as:
“Templatic is an external company, although WordPress users can install these and other external company templates, they are not supported by WordPress. Therefore, we recommend forum users to post reviews or support questions about these themes in other sites” ?? .If you need help with plugins….that′s what we′re here for ??
I have to say, that kind word usage goes a long way. I kinda felt that the tone was harsh ( “Post your reviews about that on your own blog, not here…”!) That sentence sounded significantly reprimanding.
On the other hand, sorry for the mistake and I apologize for the inconvenience. I recommend erasing this and all the other posts related to Templatic that currently exist. Hum…users should be able to erase their resolved or irrelevant issues from their profile. I don′t see the option here.

In reply to: ShopperPress-Tax ConfigurationFor anyone else wanting to know about Shopperpress tax features, this cart only lets you configure a tax per State, not by city/district or zipcode.

In reply to: Tax Calculation with Shopperpress is incorrectFrank,
Thanks so much for replying to my inquiry and even posting the shots of the California Tax option. Based on the screen option that you attached, apparently Shopperpress will not solve my tax issue. So, it is just like the theme/cart I already have installed. Glad I did not wast my money! I am really trying to abide with California law, but I am either going to have to charge the whole State the Los Angeles District tax or charge less than I am required to. This is a dilemma. I really thought that shopping carts these days were more customizable! I checked the California tax website and they state that basically any excess tax that you charge you either have to return it to the customer or the Goverment, but under all circumstances charge tax. I believe this translates to better charging more than charging less, and having to pay that out of my own pocket!

Gege

In reply to: Tax Calculation with Shopperpress is incorrectHi Frank,
I hope you solved your Tax issue with Shopperpress. I am actually considering on purchasing this cart. Considering that you already have it and have seen the back-end, can you tell me about the TAX Customization features it has?.
I mean I don′t want to buy it unless it will let me Tax customers that live in California 7.25% but customers that live especifically in certain cities a different tax rate of 8.75%. Do you know if the tax options of this cart let you do that? I don′t want to waste money by buying another theme/cart that won′t fit my tax needs.
Please scr1b3 or anyone else, let me know if this automatic issue is solved by changing to Linux.
True. I attempted the suggestions by Go Daddy and no, that has not worked. The only thing it does is to delete the documents from the plugin folder in GoDaddy, but not the folder itself, and to create a temporary document of the plugin in the wordpress content folder in file manager Godaddy. Does not install and remove itself. I just still have to do the plugin removal and installation manually. That is, I delete it from WordPress first then delete files and folder from plugin in Godaddy to download the new version from WordPress.
Thanks alot!
I tried “alcymyth” response:
I looked for “#nav .menu li a:visited” on the CSS and added the line:
text-transform:uppercase;THIS WORKED!
Thanks for all the contributions! Made my day! ?? ?? ??
This is the response I received from GoDaddy. I don’t if it works, but her it is:

Wigglepit. It is glad to know that I am not the only one facing this problem. I have read that “changing permissions to 777” may be an option but for HostGator. I haven’t seen this permission option in Godaddy. However, since we don’t seem to find a solution to this problem. I just submitted this forum question to GoDaddy hoping they will answer. We will see. If they respond let me know. Or, if you managed to call, let me know their response. Okay.

Thank you Clayton for answering,
However, I did not only wanted to move it to the RSS button to the right but specifically to move it to the right to accompany the “search box” in the Navigation Bar. That is, to be before the search box, standing by each other, having the RSS icon first buy almost touching with the white search box. Check my website: https://moviereviewingfan.com/
Let me know if have any solutions. ??Thanks for the effort! ??

In reply to: MANUAL UPDATE FROM 3.1 TO 3.1.1 TRAGEDY!!!I resolved it! When you upload the new version to file manager they come inside a folder name “wordpress” after you unzip it. Get the files out of the “wordpress” file it created and move them outside in html. You may erase the empty “wordpress” folder afterwards.
Go to the URL https://YOUR WEB SITE NAME.com/wp-admin/upgrade.php
click upgrade and click continue. My site looks the same. The only thing I lost were my plugins, which I had to download each one again. Make sure you backup all your plugins too so you won’t have to download them again in the new version.

In reply to: PLUGIN UPDATE FAILED WORDPRESS DASHBOARDRecently, I had the same issue with the another plugin. It seems that the automatic WordPress update and my GoDaddy webhosting are not working together correctly to update files. Hum….I assume that when the time comes to update the 3.1 version of WordPress to another, I will encounter the same problem. If anyone knows how to solve this. Let me know!
Dear Kippy,
Thank you very much for replying again. I just want to update you. I finally manage to tweek small things like background colors and fonts with the help of Firebug that gave me indicated the codes to change on the CSS Style. About the black bar, thank you for explaining in detail how I am suppose to change it. I attempted it but realized in the process that, in effect, the black image was in PNG format! ?? I don’t have Photoshop right now, so I still have not changed it yet. It is a relieve though, that at least I know how to technically solve the problem. Thank you Kippy.
