In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] Getting Podcast on PandoraPandora is being “extremely” selective in shows that it is adding at this point. We have shows being submitted to Pandora for their testing period. But will likely not add Pandora as a destination until general podcast submissions are allowed.
We have no idea how long Pandora will be in test but as it is now less than a 1000 shows across all podcast platforms are in their test period.

In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] RSS feed with no episodesThe feed updates instantly upon publishing. But if you are running any type of caching software that does not exclude the feed from caching you will need to clear the cache.
Todd.

In reply to: Migrating from MP3 Jplayer to Blubrry PowerPressMigrating the media and updating the blog post are part of the PowerPress migration tools. The powerpress plugin works with a number of media players that would be possible replacements for your current player if you ran into trouble.

In reply to: Slow with Limited Editing with Plugins ActiveThe RSS spec only allows for 1 media file per post. You can setup channels and have two media files per post that would result in two rss feeds.. But if you are breaking your audio files into two parts for a single service you may want to rethink that.
The PowerPress team has great support at forum.blubrry.com

In reply to: Slow with Limited Editing with Plugins ActiveBe aware that Podpress has significant security vulnerabilities in regards to the flash player.
PowerPress is by far the most popular podcasting plugin nearly 60,000 podcasters use it. It even includes the ability to get podcast statistics and they have an amazing ease of publishing interface.

In reply to: 4.4 Update prevents plugin updatesI have the same issue as above and had no issues on 4.3.
My setup is a little different in that we put the wp-content folder in a non-standard location for security reasons. I cannot update Templates or Plugins.. If I delete the plugin folder then WP will install the updated version.
We also get the maintenance flag..
If you do not let us know what sites URL your having trouble on we cannot help you. We have a full support forum at forum.blubrry.com..
FYI the Mediaelements.js player is the default player that comes with wordpress if you switch to the default theme. and do not have any issue, you more than likely have a theme conflict.
Again please post as much info as you can, because we have only had 3-4 folks report player issues.

In reply to: [Facebook] [Plugin: Facebook] plugin conflicts with powerpressMatt you guys are gonna have to fix it on your end. The PowerPress plugin is working fine on 10’s of thousands of sites until Facebook is enabled.
Even defaulting to the standard wordpress plugin causes it to break. So I am sure Angelo is correct that your content filter is part of the issue.
Will pass to Developer.. But again first we have heard of any issues with thousands using the plugin. Please send screen shots of what you are seeing as i am unable to duplicate anything you are talking about.
This is the first we have heard about this. There are a huge number of installations out there. What other plugins are you using. I personally have users of all security levels and non have reported issues.
Feel free to send screen shots to [email protected] please also submit the diagnostic info you will find a link to it in the tools section.

In reply to: [Plugin: podPress] podPress 8.8.5 beta testingOne of the reasons my team built PowerPress and have updated it nearly ever month is because of all of the issues Podpress had and still has. We are glad to see someone help the podpress users as they were left out to dry for over a couple of years while wordpress moved on.
We have a full time developer who maintains powerpress so we will be here for the new media community regardless of the status of this plugin.
Good luck… Todd..
