Hi there,
Thanks for your quick response.
It is set to “yes”, because we need to prevent clients to be able to select days which have now available slots (https://ibb.co/DgcmW8Q).
And the strange thing for me is that, as you can see in the video, if I chose from category-2 (“6-in-1”) that day is disabled, for some reason only category-1 (“HIEMT”) showed that day (May 20) available.
Regards, Gabe
Hi there,
It’s ok… ?? this topic was long ??
Anyway, the encoding is “utf8mb4_general_ci” (https://ibb.co/4WFvgvh)

Hi guys,
Do you have any follow-up about this issue? My client has just received a booking, and the character “?” is a “?” mark in the email (https://ibb.co/bQyPF9b)
Is there, maybe, some other places in the database that I should change the encoding?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Dynamic Conditions] DynamicConditons not working with Elementor 3.21.2Hi there,
Thanks for the update. It works for me. Hopefully, you guys will find a permanent solution ??

GabeHi there,
Thank you for your notice, sorry, my bad. That yes+…. setting just skipped my eyes.
It works fine now, and as you said, it has a noticeable dropback in performance, so my client has to decide if they want this option or not.
Anyway, thank you for your kind help, and patience!
Kind regards, GabeHi there,
Thank you for your quick response, but it is already set to be disabled (https://ibb.co/VjTPnXK). That is why I found it strange that a fully booked day with no available timeslots can be clicked as you can see in the video I shared before.
Sidenote: the case in the video shows a special scenario when there are some slots, but only for short treatments. As soon as the client tries to pick a long treatment that cannot be provided, no more timeslots are available, which is totally OK, I just think that the system should not allow that day to be picked, if that happens, as the settings suggest “Disabled booked dates”. It might be a bit misleading, since the date is not fully booked, yet, that is probably why we can still pick that date, but see no more timeslots. If it makes sense
Kind reagards
GabeYou’re amazing guys. Thank you!
Have a wonderful day!

Hi there,
Thank you for your quick response.
And answering your question: yes. I think if it could be temp locked (reserved) for a short amount of time (only after the timeslot was picked AND hit next) like when we can set the pending time for paying in the settings. So, if the client doesn’t pay, that slot would be available again. Something similar, like adjustable time to make a timeslot locked/reserved in case 2 clients are booking the same service (I think, though, 1 min. for that would be reasonable, otherwise if it’s too long, the “slower client” would never been able to book that if the faster client changes their mind or just simply doesn’t finish the booking.)
The reason why for this is that certain services don’t depend on a staff member’s availability but – like in our case – on (treatment) devices. So in our case clients book the device/treatment, not a person (e.g. a hairdresser).
I hope it also makes sense ??
Kind regards, Gabe
PS: I know it’s an extreme situation, so I’m just curious if “locking/reserving” the time is achievable.
Thank you for your quick response. ??
Have a great day!
Gabe
Hi,
Thanks for your quick response. This is the copy/paste message we’d use for booking modification in the email templates.

the problem is with the Hungarian character “?” in this particular case (but any with ?, ?…) and it changes back to “?” as you can see. I made a quick screencast to show that after saving it changed back for me.
The email sent about modification to the customer is just fine, only those characters are not OK.
Thank you!
GabeHi there,
I did not open another ticket because my current issue is almost the same but with the email messages (characters with accents not showing, it should be “? -> ?”: https://ibb.co/g31Hh1P).
Can you please tell me which collation should I also change, because I tried the one with the wbk_email_tempalates (https://ibb.co/nPxzXXs) but it does not seem the one I should change(?) (I’m not sure).
Thank you in advance,
Kind regards, GabeHi there,
thanks for the advice, since there is no “simple” utf, I picked utf8mb4_general_ci and it works so far.
Thanks again, have a great day!
Kind regards
GabeHi,
thanks for your quick response. I think I might have found the culprit (https://ibb.co/PxP5BV3) (latin1_swedish_ci, currently.)
- What collation should it be? (“something”_hungarian_ci)?
- if I change that, do I have to check the “Change all column…” setting?
Thank you very much

Hi there,
Thank you for the suggestion. Finally, we reinstalled the whole site, actually deleted the domain itself, and readded due to it being “registered” as “parked…”. I don’t know if that was the problem, but now Google has indexed the site and has no problem with the sitemap.
Have a wonderful day!
Kind regards, GabeHi there,
thanks for your quick response.
I rechecked within the Google Search console, and it is a bit strange to me that the page now seems to be indexed (https://ibb.co/Jqk2H7W), but the sitemap still cannot be fetched (https://ibb.co/7kNNxGY), and if I click the open sitemap, it successfully opens the sitemap. Unfortunately, I still don’t really understand what the “general HTTP error” really means, as there is no specific description in the help center, at least I can’t figure it out.
And the URL inspection returns the error of the robots.txt (https://ibb.co/DM3PYQz)
Any other suggestion you may come up with? Server/hosting does not block anything, and I have no idea what to do next. (Does this affect Google search hits? I mean, the page is indexed, but the sitemap cannot be fetched, so it means that Google should list this site in search, right? Sorry if the question is silly)
Thank you for your assistance
Kind regards, Gabe
