In reply to: [WP Instagram Widget] Speed optimization testI’m so sorry! I was looking at the pictures of another instagram plug-in I’m using.
The one from “wp-instagram-widget.php”, but I didn’t take in mind I also had an “instagram-slider”.
Tried to use the same method with same code, but that didn’t work unfortunately. Is this solution really specific to the wp-instagram-widget?

In reply to: [WP Instagram Widget] Speed optimization testThank you so much for customizing the code and explaining me how you came up with it.
I just replaced the code and the insta feed appears again, but no lazy loading yet. If I open the inspect tool I still see the instagram images are loaded.

In reply to: [WP Instagram Widget] Speed optimization testThanks for the reply, but I don’t really understand what I need to do exactly.
I created a folder called “parts”, so the file was located in “/wp-content/themes/15zine/parts”. Then I simply copy+paste your code, but this resulted in a white space instead of the instagram feed.
I also have a file called wp-instagram-widget.php in the plugin folder (which is not in my theme folder) but I assume I should leave this as it is?
I’m not a developper, so no clue if I’m doing it the way it should.

In reply to: [Gallery Custom Links] Links not workingMany thanks! The problem was indeed in a Jetpack setting, formally called Photon.
If other people ever run to this problem:
Jetpack -> Settings -> Performance & speed -> Disable “Speed up image load times”.
I still left “Speed up static file load times” enabled. This didn’t affect the image links.
Thank you so much! I just re-installed jetpack and its working again now!
Really missed the great overview with all the stats!

Thanks for this info. I wasn’t aware that my website points to the address you copied. Also no idea how it is possible. Can’t find anything in my config or functions that could override this.
The link you shared is a staging I made of my website, but even deleting it doesn’t help.
Also changed something in my .htaccess file that could have redirected the url to the wrong address, but it didn’t help.
I also changed the site and address several times to a url with and without www. at Settings > General, so looks like I have full access to edit this.
Edit: I just found out I logged into Jetpack with another staging website https://wordpress-175698-743047.cloudwaysapps.com
@macmanx I disconnected this site, but unfortunately it didn’t change anything. Can you check if there are still other account associated with my current geckoroutes?- This reply was modified 5 years, 6 months ago by geckoroutes.
Could you please give a better explanation of what you mean with odd?
I followed the instructions and it looks like the settings should be ok now. See here the screenshots:

I still have the same problem. XML-RPC file can be accessed but no change.
Re-installed jetpack almost every day since but no change…
Sorry activated the plug-in again to try to disable it from within. Now the file can be accessed again, but the problem is still the same. Also the debugger still says: “An unknown error has occurred.”
I found the plug-in that caused it. Apparently it was Clearfy.
Now I can at least access the file:
https://www.geckoroutes.com/xmlrpc.phpMessage is: XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.
However, I still get the same error in Jetpack.
Even after re-installing it.

The response I get when loaden the XMLrpc file is”: HTTP Response code: 403 – Forbidden
I’m also using Cloudflare for CDN but I didn’t change anything recently.
It’s also possible to delete this file and upload a new verison?

Thanks for the steps, but no success here.
Tried to remove the www. as I already had this as the standard domain.
De-activated, removed and reinstalled jetpack and tested with www. and without but still the same error.
Glad you found a solution!
Could you please share how you did this exactly?
Where did you add https://www.?
I’m always working from https://www.
But each time I try to connect, I get the same error.
This is the link I used to re-connect
