The problem was due to permalinks not being converted properly. After fixing the permalinks, I can preview even after I reinstalled the most current version of W3TC.

I have the very latest versions of WP, PHP & W3TC (9.7.5). I deleted W3TC but that didn’t solve the problem.

I would like to see an option that would allow users to change the wording of those messages within your plugin GUI. That would make it easier for us.

And how do I do that?

OK but normally when you see “remember me”, it means that when you go to the login page, your username is already filled in. A more appropriate message for your plugin would be “keep me logged in”. Is there any way to change the wording?

Hello… any theme authors monitoring these posts? Does anyone know a better way to get support for this theme?

I have about five other websites on that server and Back-Up WordPress is working fine on all other websites. But I think I found the problem. The only plugin I did not deactivate was my Maintenance Mode plugin because I want to keep my site offline while I build it. So I tried deactivating that plugin and putting my site online and now BackupWordPress works fine. Which is odd because with all my other sites, BackupWordPress works OK when my site is in maintenance mode.

Do you know of another maintenance mode plugin that works better with your plugin?

I am using WordPress 4.4.1 and BackUpWordPress 3.4.2.

Switching to the WP Twenty Fifteen theme did not fix it.

Deactivating all plugins did not fix it.

I set up the following schedules and none of them are working:

File Manually
Complete Daily
Database Twice Daily
File Twice Daily

When I click on “Run Now” in each of those schedules, the wheel spins then stops but no backups are made.

I also tired excluding the wp-content folder but that didn’t fix it either. There isn’t much in that folder; I’m in the early stages of building the website.

I switched from Firefox to Chrome; still didn’t fix it.

Does your program create a log for troubleshooting?

I couldn’t find anything in the FAQ that helped. I was using the Weaver Xtreme theme but switched over to Twenty Fifteen but that did not solve the problem. I also tried deactivating all the other plugins. Still didn’t solve the problem. I have it set up for daily backup at 12 pm and it did do a backup on Monday & today but I’m not sure if it was the auto that did it or me manually clicking “run”. Regardless, I have a “Manual” schedule set up and a “Daily” and when I click “run” in both schedules, I see the wheel spin but nothing happens.

OK I solved the problem by doing a forced refresh (shift/refresh) in Firefox and Chrome and now the dropodown menu is working.

No, it’s still not working with my Firefox and Chrome. If you hover over “Acreage” in the menu, you should see a dropdown menu with six categories of acreage. If you go to another page that does not have a slider and hover over “Acreage” you’ll see the dropdown menu works just fine.

So when would you ever need to back-up the Themes or Plugins folder? I assume only when you add, delete or update a theme or plugin, correct? Are all of the various settings/parameters for the themes and plugins stored in the database?

Also… what is stored in the “Others” zip file?
