Thank you for your response. No further action is needed; for now, I have made the connection without the plugin. It’s not ideal, but it took so much time that I don’t know what else we could try at this point. It’s a shame we couldn’t solve it, but that’s how it is for now. Thank you for your time and effort nonetheless.

We use Bedrock/Sage as our development stack, so /wp/ is indeed there, but that’s intentional. We have 30 other websites where this is also the case, but only these two websites have the issue I described. It happened out of nowhere; it always worked, but for the past two weeks, it hasn’t.

I came to say that I give up. We’ve tried many things, but I have the feeling it’s not working. I’m not setting up another WordPress site. We use the same stack for 30 websites, and it works on other domains, but not here. Unfortunately, it’s now giving a blank page for two more websites, but that’s a recent issue and probably a different kind of error. I’m not blaming you, but it’s very frustrating that it isn’t working as it should, and I’m not sure it’s our fault.

- Activating the troubleshooting plugin results in a blanco website, so I removed this plugin.
- There is no error, only an issue ; https://freeimage.host/i/dHMsozv
- The screenshot shows what I’m seeing, instant blanco page, including the plugins page.

In reply to: [Site Kit by Google - Analytics, Search Console, AdSense, Speed] Blanco pageAdditionally, we had our system administrator check, but no error messages were found—just the blank pages. The rest of the website works fine, and the plugin works locally.
We also tried removing and reinstalling the plugin, but the problem persisted. In the source code, we can still see the GA/GTM despite the blank page in the backend.
Unfortunately, the same error message persists: string(11) ‘Bad Request’. I do notice that the number of services to be linked in a later screen is fewer when I select that option. Unfortunately, linking doesn’t work this way either.
I just filled out the form, I have sent 3 links with 2 videos with the developer tools open and once with the network tab open. I also sent a screenshot of the page where I get the error message with the network tab open. I did all of this incognito, site kit was reset during the attempt. Also, the redirect and caching plugins were turned off.
Please let me know when I can delete the files.
Just tried again, disabled redirect and caching plugin. During installation, the plugin says the configuration is found. I also see the new Google style during the process now. However, it ends with the same error message: string(11) “Bad Request”.
I haven’t tried the solution with constants; it’s not as simple as just putting them in your .ENV file. These constants also need to be retrieved in the wp-config of Bedrock. But I’m not going to start that because then I’ll be modifying files that shouldn’t be modified.”
Thank you for your response. I’ve tried again, but I’m still encountering the same error message. I’ve set the permalinks to default, deactivated all plugins, activated only Site Kit, reset Site Kit, but it still doesn’t work. I just checked to see if I could set the Site Kit constants in the wp-config file. However, we use Bedrock, and the wp-config file is not directly editable.This is the URL where I end up when encountering the error:

Thank you for your response. I tried again, using incognito mode, deactivated WP Rocket, deactivated Redirects, reset Site Kit, and saved permalinks. After logging in again, I still received the error message “string(11) ‘Bad Request'”.As I mentioned earlier, this is the first time I’m attempting to link it. Previously, the website was on a staging URL, and we didn’t link Site Kit there.
Thank you for your response, I always connect this plugin in Chrome incognito mode because of the passwords; in my other window, I’m logged in myself.And perhaps to emphasize again, I’ve gone through this process for about 20-30 websites, and the stack itself doesn’t change much.
I’m now at the point of just hardcoding it into the website, but I’m really curious about what could still be causing the issue.

Ultimately, I still encounter the “Bad Request” error in Chrome’s incognito mode.Thank you for your effort, I appreciate it. I just disabled the Redirection plugin and WP Rocket. Then I also resaved my permalinks and reset Site Kit. I had to log in again, but then I got a blank page with the message ‘getting credentials failed’. When the page refreshed, logging in again, I got the error message ‘getting token failed’, not a blank page but the plugin’s splash page with the title ‘Error connecting to Site Kit’. I was using Chrome’s incognito mode.

Thank you for your effort. I just tried again, and I’m getting the same error message when I go through the process. When I go back to the plugin screen, I have to start configuring Site Kit all over again.
I have sent a WeTransfer link via the form with a video. I’m not going to download software to visually demonstrate the issue.
