I have managed to change the highlight colour – simply replaced it in the CSS with the colour I wanted. I searched for ‘hover’ and changed all the colour codes.

I’d prefer for the pages to appear like this:

I want to use pages for my info and the blog pages separately for a proper blog.

I’d like to add that left sidebar to the pages (it currently only shows up on blog pages.)

The form shows up on a darker background, but the submit button is still very light. It is completely invisible on a white background regardless of the font colour set.
