Update: I received your email.
The pages you are seeing in search results are cached by Google on February 8th. Maybe at that time the plugin wasn’t active but the shortcodes were inserted. You need to resubmit the URLs or wait for Google to re-crawl your pages again. Here is a quick solution:
1. Go to Google Search Console and Login/Link your website with your account if you haven’t done that yet. [Guide: https://gauravtiwari.org/google-search-console-setup-guide/ ]
2. Resubmit your website’s sitemapEven if you don’t do these, Google will re-crawl the posts again in a couple of days and then everything will be back to normal.

In reply to: [Dynamic Month & Year into Posts] Does it work in Yoast Titles?Hi @filarono, @pingiskhan – I have added Yoast SEO support. Please update the plugin. So sorry for the delay.
Hi @glorain,
Hope you are doing well. I have an update on this and sadly Rank Math doesn’t allow shortcodes in their SEO description. However, there is a catch. If you use shortcodes in the first paragraph, RankMath captures them as they are. They will be rendered as the current month and year etc. in Rank Math’s SEO description.Manually entered shortcodes on the other hand don’t work.
Glad that I helped. Please take a minute or two to write a review for the plugin. ??
Hi there,
It works totally fine with social and search previews. For an example, this page at https://overeview.com/coffee-maker-christmas/ uses [year] in the title and content.
Here’s the sharing debugger for Facebook: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/?q=https%3A%2F%2Fovereview.com%2Fcoffee-maker-christmas%2F

In reply to: [Dynamic Month & Year into Posts] Does it work in Yoast Titles?Hi, I will release an update for Yoast SEO too.
It renders month name as per your WordPress installation language. Currently it doesn’t have an option to manually render month name in a certain language other than the default installation language. I will look for options and see if I can implement your request.
Hi Glorain. Not many people use shortcode in RankMath Description, but I will release an update with shortcode support in SEO description, alongwith some other features.
I meant a total of 800kB in CSS+fonts on my whole site compressed. Here:
See: https://gauravtiwari.org/press-release-guide/
1. WP Rocket Minified CSS with ThePlus Enabled and No Blocks Used: 626kB
2. WP Rocket Minified CSS without ThePlus: 328kB / That is a difference of around 300kB for no reason at all.
3. Also, you use common classes like.circle
which some themes use too — conflicting with circular images. I think using.tp-class
will be much better. Is loading the complete FontAwesome icon pack that necessary? Most users don’t find any use of over 90% icons like fa-wpbeginner, fa-wpexplorer etc.

In reply to: [Dynamic Month & Year into Posts] Shortcode don’t work when usingHello @omahkucingalam, the plugin intelly related posts does not use normal WordPress practices to render the loop.
See this screenshot.
https://gauravtiwari.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Screen-Shot-2020-12-13-at-6.58.00-PM.pngI am using Gutenberg’s Latest Post Block and have tried with others too. All those render well but this IntellyWP one doesn’t.
I even tried adding support for this plugin but they don’t have any code that can be hooked.
For future benefits, you should try other related post plugins.

In reply to: [Dynamic Month & Year into Posts] Loading timeThis shouldn’t be happening, but thanks for your report.
Maybe some other plugin is conflicting with ours.
I checked the query monitor with the latest version and everything looks good.
I am getting 0.95s query time with 29 plugins activated.
The
do_shortcode
is essential for the plugin to render shortcodes in Title and other important areas. Have you installed Rank Math? I think the other filters have to do something with this.- This reply was modified 4 years ago by Gaurav Tiwari.

In reply to: [Post Type Switcher] Will not work on WordPress.com hostThis is a must use plugin for me. I use WP.com business as well. I am not sure why they are blocking this. The workaround is to download the plugin and rename the folder and post-type-switcher.php to one of your choices. Upload the compressed file and you are good to go.
