In reply to: [Contact Form 7] 4.8 & 4.9 break contact form(s)I suppose it’s smart to add that this isn’t just a phone issue. Others using various devices are unable to submit as well when using 4.8 or 4.9.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Success message not showingI’m sorry, but I keep seeing the plugin author telling people to change to the default theme and/or disable other plugins. Unfortunately, not all of us have the luxury to just disable plugins or change the look of our websites.
Certainly, you’re looking into the issue and trying to fix the compatibility issue, yes?

In reply to: Page shows directory listing instead of page contentAh! You know, I checked and I do indeed have a folder of the same name.
Unfortunately, files are being hosted from it, but it’s a good fact to know. Thanks, nvarcha!
Anyone?
The issue isn’t resolved. The debug mode set to true brings down the site and due to what it’s for, that’s not something I can do lightly.
I’ve tried finding a common factor of the sites that aren’t backing up vs the ones that are and so far I’ve come up with nothing.
Saw a few other posts about it, and tried those solutions but none of them did the trick. Guess I just may use a different backup plugin.
Some more information on what’s going on.
So I have a total of 22 sites. Of the 22, 7 of them appear to have stopped emailing the backup file.
One stopped back in June, another was prior to May, but the other few stopped between 9/7 and 9/9.
Back to square one.
Had several sites do the repetitive backing up again.
Going back from 9/15 so far. This is extremely irritating.
I’m a bit lost on the error logs honestly. Not quite sure where they’re located, did a Google search, chased a rabbit and got lost.
What I did do, is change the email address and method to locally & email. It did back up locally but I still have not received an email.
Where is the mail.log?
No, an email backup was not created for the site that had the duplicates.
Because I disabled the zip option, there were no zip files, only SQL files.I created a manual backup and received confirmation that the backup was created and emailed. I still have not received an email pertaining to this and checked FTP for duplication. I see nothing from today in the FTP.
Tried backing it up again but still no email. It’s been 10 minutes.
Doesn’t look like the manual back up worked. At least, I didn’t get an email for it.
Sigh. I meant MB, not GB. 15MB.
Went in and disabled the zip option on Thursday and checked this morning. Did have one site that started to repeat the backups still. It created 8 of them, roughly 3 minutes apart give or take 30 seconds.
The average size varies depending on which site it is but for this one, the average is about 15GB.
Hm. Thank you dwinden.
I checked and it on the sites that were affected, the memory limit it set to 256M and the Script Execution is set to 60s.I did go in and disable the zip option and will keep my eye on it.
Hey dwinden,
There is one of each that gets saved.
Each time it happens, it creates both an sql and zip file with the same file name. the zip file always shows a filesize of 0, while the sql file shows the full size.
When it’s emailed, I only receive it via email one time.
Well, I suppose that’s another area where I’m quite confused.
Every site has it set to Email only. However, only a few keep having the duplicate backups being created and saved to a local directory. I’ve gone in and double checked and they are set to Email Only.
