In reply to: Can not add caption to photos inserted from flickrI have been adding the photo using the add url function. The photo displays but where you can normally add the caption there is no response to the click. The caption field never shows up on the front end.
A published post where I attempted to add a caption and could not is at https://garyjkirkpatrick.com/november-23-the-state-of-things-in-the-valencia-area/
I hope that answers the questions

Sorry I can not offer any explanation. The messages popped up when I tried to preview a theme.
Thanks for the reply. I was looking around for answers and someone posted that they found some invalid entries in their theme. I found some, deleted them and the problem disappeared.
I have deactivated all the plugins, no change. I have removed all the themes except the one I am using, no change. The site still operates normally.

In reply to: WordPress recovery mode redirects to installThanks for the reply. The site is back up. The problem was with the database indeed. I checked with the hosting and they found it needed optimizing, which solved the problem.

In reply to: Move from one subdomain to anotherMore news. I noticed that I had not removed all the wp files from the co.nf subdomain. When I did and try to log in I get
The requested URL was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Sorry about the avalanche of info.

In reply to: Move from one subdomain to anotherHere is the error message, in case it has changed. You can see that WP is looking for garyartista.co.nf and I think it should be looking for garyartista.garyjkirkpatricksub.garyjkirkpatrick.com
I looked at wp-settings.php on line 33. I do not see anything to change there.
