After disabling Recaptcha and enabling Cloudflare Turnstile using the Simple Cloudflare Turnstile WordPress plugin, I have the same error, which I’ll describe below.
When users try to submit our contact form, they get this error with an orange border around it.
There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later. When I go to the WordPress Contact Form 7 backend, I see this message next to the form.
! 1 configuration error detectedWhen I edit the form, then go to the Mail tab, I see this error:
!1 configuration error detected in this tab panelThough it doesn’t give more info about how to solve it.
One additional note. I had to add this to my form template in CF7 to get the Turnstile to show up on my forms.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Spinning wheel when trying to submit contact formHere’s the solution for issues with Contact Form 7 and WP Cerber.
https://wpcerber.com/contact-form-7-are-not-working/If that doesn’t work or you have problems. You can also go to the Hardening tab in WP Cerber, and under the Access To WordPress REST API, turn off:
Disable REST APIJust understand the security risks involved with doing this. I’m not a security expert, so I can’t give more details about that.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Spinning wheel when trying to submit contact formOkay, I disabled WP Cerber and that solved my problem. I’ll dig through the settings in WP Cerber to see which one might be causing problems.
I wanted to leave this thread open, as well as the solution to help others who might use WP Cerber.
Note: There wasn’t always an incompatibility, because I’ve been running my site with this setup for 4 years. It’s likely a setting in WP Cerber that is blocking the form submit.

In reply to: Changing WordPress Admin email addressI ended up solving it using the Better Search & Replace plugin for WordPress because I couldn’t get immediate access to MySQL. I know this feature is for security, but it’s quite annoying when you’re trying to help clients manage their sites.
Viktor, thank you, thank you, thank you! You’ve really saved me a lot of time and frustration. I appreciate it!
Exactly the same problem here. After running my plugin updates, I got a dialog about iThemes security. I had no idea what it even was, so my first thought was to go disable it. After disabling it I can’t login to any of my WordPress sites. Luckily, I only disabled it on two before I realized it was a problem. I’ve tried renaming the better-wp-security plugin folder to tmp-better-wp-security and I still have the problem.
This is a very poor experience. I’ve tried:
https://www.mysite.com/login — redirects to https://www.mysite.com/wp-login.php
https://www.mysite.com/wp-admin — redirects to https://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/All of the above URL’s time out. I don’t recall setting up a https: / secure server for login. Can someone please share any insights on fixing this, uninstalling Better WP Security/iTumes Security.
Thanks for the quick reply. After digging some more, turns out I had installed the Responsive TwentyTen plugin ( https://gingerbreaddesign.co.uk/wordpress/responsive-twentyten/ ) some time ago. After disabling this, the problem resolved itself.
