Well, if you add a simple NextGen Gallery, it normally shows in a matrix of 5×4 (for example). After editing with Front-End Editor, the NextGen Gallery is replaced by raw images, all shown below each other.

Anyway, this layout being messed up is quite irrelevant. If the shortcode wouldn’t be replaced, there wouldn’t be any messing up either.

I’m having the issue with Fast Secure Contact Form plugin and NextGen Gallery plugin.

With “gallery”, I suppose you’r referring to the built-in WP gallery and not galleries like NextGen? It’s important that NextGen Gallery is not converted to raw images, otherwise new images added to the gallery are not shown on the page (and the layout is messed up to, by the way).

Hi, thanks for your reply. I had already solved the problem in the meantime by shrinking the content so that it fits in the popup window.

However, it looks like this will be a good solution in case I need it elsewhere! Or the next plugin update of course ??

The solution was switching translation plugins. In my case, it appeared not at all possible to get to a nice translation of WooCommerce using Polylang with reasonable effort (of course you can always go in the core files and do crazy things).

With WPML, it was quite easy. Just needed to discover what plugin settings worked best in my case. No crazy stuff!
