I’ve corrected the parse error but not sure where to even start with the mark up errors.

if I run it through an online html previewer it displays fine, it’s just wordpress that displays weirdly.

Not exactly solved but i figured a workaround out after many hours faffing.
I copied the uploads files to my hardrive and then deleted them from my wp-content folder through ftp. I then reloaded all the uploads files on the FTP and it seemed to sort it.
Never worked out what caused it though.

Does anybody know if this means it has to be a file permissions problem with my host?

In reply to: Images not diaplaying on after transferI’ve just tried reinstalling everything for the third time and this time weirdly a couple of images are showing up. This makes no sense.
All images are showing on the ftp
This is the url from the ftp for an image that is displaying –
ftp://[email protected]/web/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/GIJ-VOGELS-BRAYLEINO-018-1000×288.jpg
And this is the url for an image that isn’t displaying –
ftp://[email protected]/web/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/The-Aviator-Hotel.jpg
I can’t see any difference between the two.

I have the same problem when I upload new images. They upload fine but then display as broken links.
