i have changed my permalinks from post name to default that that seams to have corrected the issue, could it be something to do with better-wp not allowing the .htaccess file to be unwritable?

hi ive done that the site loads but all the pages I get a 404

Not Found

The requested URL /about/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

can someone tell me how I can sort this so I can apply the new update it wont even allow me to get to the admin section of the site
