Thanks, that version worked. ??
I understand your reasons for not wanting to implement a “simple” option to disable the emails, but you should also realize that not everyone wants them. You can describe your intended use-case of the plugin, but that doesn’t fully align with how it’s used by larger agencies or folks with multiple client websites.
We don’t need a weekly reminder about all the issues with our 100s of sites. Other tickets here are also wishing for the ability to disable it. I’m not saying you need to remove email notifications entirely, but a simple checkbox would be nice to have somewhere. E.g.,
[×] Disable email notifications
or even an area to specify an email to send them to other than the Admin email.I would assume that the bulk of folks who use this plugin are aware that they should fix their sites sooner than later, but that’s not always viable when a client isn’t willing to pay for that update, or when it just takes multiple weeks to comb through the issues through 100s of sites, or when we’re actually waiting on plugin developers and theme authors to update the plugins causing the issues in the first place.
We don’t always need a weekly summary of the same websites with the same issues.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Massive styling issues with ver 5.5.0 and upWow, glad I found this thread. I spend time time with custom styling to the Single event page, and then realized a recent update somehow wiped it out. Not sure how or why. But I don’t see it being mentioned in the changelog. How come?
For now, I’ve added
add_filter( 'tribe_events_single_view_v2_is_enabled', '__return_false' )
… but how long will that be supported for? I can’t have a future update taking my styling away again.I figured that was the case, by inspecting the code, but I’m not sure if something changed between version 3.X and version 4.X. I’ve definitely clicked that X a few times over the last year or so. Looks like you’re saving the fact into user meta? If so, next time it happens (next time it shows up), I’ll try to look at my user’s meta to see if it has the correct field/value already.

No, we don’t need to test for Pro version. I actually ended up using this instead, is this OK?
if ( function_exists( 'aioseo' ) )
Well this is embarrassing. I’m actually using
reSmush.it
I’ll reach out to them. ??
Any update here? I’m noticing some fields are left over too.

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] After uninstall and clearing, there is still a cron hookYes, it seems to remove everything this time. Thanks!
Rough, releasing an update that removes functionality, and then making us wait to get back to a point we were already at. ??
What’s the deal here? Can the devs of this plugin work with the dev of their plugin? It’s pretty important that the most popular post duplication plugin still works with AIOSEO.
v4 is breaking/removing too much, that it’s causing lifelong users to abandon it…
AIOSEO 4.X releases should apparently have been AIOSEO beta series.
Please release an update that supports Google Analytics 4.
All-in-One SEO has built-in Analytics that is good enough.
