In reply to: [Gallery Share: Social Lightbox For Every Image] two popup lightboxSorry for the late reply.
As mentioned in my previous reply, you don’t have the Gallery Share Plugin installed, you use Social Gallery Plugin, a different one.
I hope the new update fixed your issue.
Kindly let me know if you still have it.Best!
Hi Taticecchi,

The plugin works fine in the new update, please check it here:https://www.digital-zone.org/gallery-share-plugin/#

In reply to: [Gallery Share: Social Lightbox For Every Image] Wrong image on facebookHi Celesh, please let me know your website / post where you had this issue. We’ll take a look and fix it.
Thanks!
Hi focallocal,
I hope this finds you well. Please check below, the plugin is working for the cases you mentioned. Thanks for your feedback and please share your website were you had the issues.
You can check here that it shares the image, not the post:
It is a public post done via the website. When you click on the post it will redirect to the exact image shared. (because it has an unique URL).
Also, here’s a post with 15 images: https://www.digital-zone.org/gallery-share-plugin/# It works very well, depending on your internet connection you might have to wait for the page to load, because the images are large. It displays every photo, even if there are more than 3.
Can you please let me know your website and a post where you have this issue?
Xperimenter,
I appreciate the feedback and the bug reports. We are looking into them now. Do you have a live blog where we could see the behavior you reported?
At point 2 – this is because the browser records all internal anchors (which is what we use to navigate the images) in history. I will look into ways to prevent this from happening.
Also, regarding the last question: what do you mean by slow? The lightbox opening effect, or just loading the image?
Thank you.

In reply to: [Gallery Share: Social Lightbox For Every Image] Gallery Share plugin useYou seem to have RPS Image gallery installed. That plugin generates the lightbox that appears every time you click a picture. It includes a script called fancybox – you may see either one of these two names in your blog admin page.
After activating Gallery Share, it should work out of the box for normal attachment images or NextGEN galleries. It hasn’t been tested with RPS Image gallery yet.

Can you please give us a link to the page so we can check it.

Hello,
I emailed you on the contact email listed on the blog a debug version of the code. Please put that version up on the site and I will look into it.
Thank you.
Our code is a reimplementation of a similar idea in a better way and was created by our programmers. Unfortunately there are only so many ways a feature can be implemented, so this is bound to generate some similarities.
I can understand that you find this plugin as a threat to your paid solution, but it’s normal to have free quality alternatives to paid code.
I agree with you on one point: your plugin has more features at the moment, but we will work our way up to the same level in time.Dear woodyhayday,
I appreciate your comment.
I know that you are selling and trying to promote here a similar plugin. We have checked it, and it has little in common in terms of technical execution with Gallery Share.
At the same time, from what I can see, our plugin works in a different way. To make a few key points:
– we use a combined server-side plus client-side way of acquiring target images
– we generate Facebook tags so you can share the actual image you want to share and not a random one
– we use MD5 hashes to uniquely identify images, and not just share the first/second image in the page, whichever that may beLastly, we are glad to be able to offer a free version alternative to a paid-only solution, and one that does the job better I might say.
I will close this thread now, as it’s not relevant to any real tech problem related to the plugin.
Best regards
I appreciate your answer. However, the information you are sharing here doesn’t help us determine a possible cause or make any attempt in debugging your installation. If you want us to help, we need your assistance.
There is no need for html/js/css knowledge on your part. You just need to install the plugin and activate it.
As a side note, I see from your profile that you are involved with a company that produces (and sells) a similar plugin. We are happy to assist even in these circumstances, but, again, we need your help in doing that.
Best regards.
