I get the exact same error on activating the plugin.
My setup: It’s a multisite installation (there weill be multiple language versions) and I network-activated the plugin after installing. Only tried the text watermark so far. The preview image did not work either.

After going to the media library, in the list wiew, I could see the images but in the grid view it was just spinning and not displaying anything.

After deactivating the plugin, everything went back to normal.

The site is behind maintenance mode at the moment so there’s not much use of the URL but here it is anyway: https://hu.septichora.com/ (I can deactivate the maintenance mode plugin as there’s no secret behind it).

Exactly. An excellent and easy to set up and use plugin but this rule does not make sense. I have a co-author to whom I really do not want to grant any higher privileges as he knows as much about WP as I do about woodworking but this way I cannot grant him access as an author and grant access to anyone with a higher rank (like editor) at the same time.

It does not really need any “update” as it’s two lines of code altogether using some WP features.

It works in version 3.6 at least.

I had the same issue and ended up here – but to me the plugin tip helped. It was the “really static” plugin (which somehow makes sense) and it even screwed up the appearance of the page after a comment was posted.

Good plugin though, hopefully there is a solution.
