Now when I change the colors in the settings it works on the front-end.

I’ve noticed 2 .htaccess files. One in public_html and one in wp-content.

Is there any possible issues by the fact I just deleted them?

*My other issue is still there (other topic).

I’ve got a quick reply from their support and it was a misunderstanding. They solved my issue and I’m really happy. I’ll share the solution here if anyone ever come to this topic.

1. Connect to your FTP or open the hosting control panel File manager tool.
 
2. Navigate to wp-content/themes/CherryFramework/includes folder and download theme-function.php file.
 
3. Open it with any text editor and add into following code, aprox. to the line 579

I insert a video while creating a portfolio item. I choose “video” and then it gives me a box where I can add a link to the video source and it does the rest itself.

There’s no jPlayer plugin in my plugins list and there’s no options for the player anywhere in the admin panel. The only thing could be the “Cherry Plugin” which is their plugin that came with the theme.

I guess they’re trying to just send me somewhere else. They we’re clear with that sentence here “your issue is a matter of Wordperss cms managing itself, rather than a template/theme modification question.”

I guess I’ll reply to them and point out to this topic so they can clearly see it’s their shit and not yours.

It came with the theme I’ve bought and it’s used in their portfolio.

They’re now telling me it’s not from them and it’s from WordPress as you can read in their message.
