Sorry that wasn’t clear. Only the files you are altering need to exist in your child theme’s edd_templates/ folder.

Having read the docs again, from my understanding, you can only move files which are in the edd_templates folder to start with.

The file I wanted to change is in the easy-digital-downloads/includes/checkout folder

I have just read that document but it doesnt mention files which reside in the /includes folder, will these still work?

Could you please try with just EDD and Auto Register active on the site? it is possible that something else is blocking the auto login feature on your setup.

I will try that, can you confirm that after purchase, the user should be auto logged in ?
