In reply to: Missed Schedule – Scheduled Posts Not Publishing With 2.7Has anyone tried a cron job using curl or wget (or in the case of HostGator, ‘GET’) to access the index.php every so often? If the scheduled posting is running off of wp-cron, then triggering a pagelaod near the time for the scheduled post – or soon after – may result in the post getting posted appropriately. Then again, if a high-traffic blog (and I mean, a hit a minute during scheduled posting times) is getting this issue, then it’s not going to help, as it’s something else.
Just my idea.

In reply to: Fatal Error taxonomy.php related to Feed WordPress pluginFIXED: Issue was with my blogroll categories. For some reason they weren’t being picked up properly by the plugin. A manual delete from the database (via phpmyadmin) of all blogroll categories, and re-creation within WP solved the problem.

In reply to: Faster way to assign categories to hundreds of imported posts? If you have phpmyadmin, you should be able to mass-edit the entries directly in the database. Otherwise, you’re talking about typing up a LOT of SQL.

In reply to: comment_quicktags.php showing high hits and trafficI looked through the theme, and I see no calls, includes, or requires to the quicktags file. I’m positive I haven’t visiting my plugins admin page 633 times in one week. Even then, I don’t think Urchin (not through google analytics) shows a file unless it’s directly accessed. Strange.
