Thank you. Unfortunately, the issue is still present. I have done as instructed, and have sent an email to ELementor support. I look forward to progressing, as this has been – and still is – a daily nuisance in using Elementor on our site.
Here is a video (https://s.dpsyk.dk/yAu6yR91) showing how it only happens for the text block. The button element and heading element both have a functional editor in the left-side column, whereas all and any text elements on this page results in a blank editor column. As mentioned in the OP, this unwanted behavior for the text element editing is not present on other subpages.
Hi there, Gilt.
The server requirements have been checked and are fully met. Hosting is enterprise-grade with Pressidium. Also, the Elementor plugin has now been updated to version 3.1.1, but the issue persists.
Could you link the help article, that you mention addresses the specific issue, please? Then I will run through each step and verify.
Thanks in advance!

No, it doesn’t. Works as intended now.
Hi there, @lawrencekells. Basically, the workflow consists of three phases:
1. Backup the origin site, which yields a download file automatically. My ~600 MB sites compressed to 65-120MB with this plugin.
2. Install a blank/staging site. Site title, user and password can all be “test” or similar, if you have an auto-installer. Just get a blank in there. Login, install the plugin, activate and import the file via the plugin, which makes the backup zip go into the new/destination site’s media library. Select the uploaded file and execute.
3. You should now be automatically logged out, since the staging site is no longer the same site anymore. Update your DNS (change IP at Cloudflare or similar), so as to make your new site accessible and respond to your usual login page and credentials.Hope it helps.
I support getting functionality/info available excluding at the agent level.
I personally use HetrixTools to monitor my site and would like to exclude this agent, as well, as it drops four thousand hits (as it should) on my server every day. It just pollutes my stats and I am positive that agent exclusion would be a generally appreciated feature, if developed.
Anyone know a manual fix in the meantime?
Yay! Let’s get some numbers behind this feature request. Join in, everyone…
In addition, when we edit the front page sections it should update the sitemap. At the moment I have to do this manually by editing the blank home page and add something and save, in order to get the sitemap updated with a new date for changes to the actual front page (sections).

In reply to: [OnePress] Manually adding alt description for hero imageYes, the hero image works fine. Let me try and be more clear:
1. Is there a way to hardcode img alt for the hero image into the very template, since it does not grab and add these from the ones I have added to the photo in the media library.
In other words, can I add a “sticky” alt description in the front page template, so the hero background image also has HTML img alt tags available?
I realize, if this is doable, that changing the photo means the hardcoded alt=”blah bla” sticks, until manually updated, accordingly.
Anyway, I hope I this got the cotton pout of my mouth and that it makes more sense…

In reply to: [OnePress] Hero images appear blackHad same issue, at least for mobile devices. Simply clearing the cache helped.
I have somewhat the same problem, so I thought it best to continue this thread over posting a new.
1. The identical part is on FHD (1920 x 1080) smartphones. Long words, such as ‘psychologist’ gets cut off in vertical mode. If you prefer an URL for reviewing the issue, go to: https://www.mindlang.com.
I tried manually pasting the above mentioned #solution 2 into the style.css file, as I do not have the Simple Custom CSS plugin. It didn’t work right off the bat, of course, but even when I fiddled with changing the size cut-off, I still got nowhere. Not a CSS guy.
2. Also, when flipping a FHD smartphone into horizontal mode, the top line of hero H1 text is meshed on top of the top menu, at least when there are three lines, as I have. Maybe that’s just how it is? Not a huge issue, anyway.
…now I’m off to search the forum for “black hero image on mobile devices”. Happened after upgrading the theme to 1.2.5 ??

In reply to: [OnePress] Last update is dangerousHad same problem. Couldn’t access the features items. And the add items button was not responsive. Logged into WP admin in private browser window (meaning without the existing local cache) and it worked nicely. So just to confirm.
One strange thing, though.
I had manually left-aligned the text in the two columns. ~10 paragraphs in each column. A few of the paragraphs in the left/first column didn’t retain the left-alignment after the update. The second/right one was intact. Strange.
Not being a CSS guy, is there an easy way to left-align the features items columns?
