In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] Country List with Version 4xxHi
I’m aware of the fields to add a caption above or below the form field, however, I want the first option in the form to be (please select country), but this must not be an option, so the visitor is forced to choose another option from the drop-down list.
Right now, the form automatically selects the first option (no matter what it is) and allows the user to ‘send’ the form.
I don’t mind if the first option is blank, but the user must be forced to choose a country option before the form can be sent.
Hope this clarifies my requirement.
Thx

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] Country List with Version 4xxHi mbrsolution
I was trying to fix the “Select Fields”, but using your info I found my way to the correct field and added:
Input select fields: max-width:250px; (Thanks you guided me in the right direction.
Now, I need some help getting the following done:
First option in the drop down lists shows as follows…(Please Select Country)
However, this option must not be available as a selection option and the form must NOT submit unless another option (country) has been selected. Required field option is enabled!
See sidebar form: hereThx

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Responsive or add Scroll BarsHi
The Footable Plugin was added in an attempt to get the tables responsive and it did not work. I have deleted this plugin.
I added the wrapper HTML element and Custom CSS and the horizontal scroll bar is visible – Thank you ??
Next Question: Is there a way to hide the scroll bar and make it reappear only when needed (eg. on a smaller screen)?
Thx

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Responsive DesignHi Tobias
I have a broad table which I wanted to be responsive. I tried the ‘responsive-tables’ add-on, but this make the table look terrible in normal view (on PC or notebook).
My table sample can be viewed here:
https://www.seasafetytraining.co.za/test-schedule-layouts/Please help with code to add to Custom CSS which will allow me to add horizontal scroll-bars to the table(s) when the screen size is smaller.
NOTE: There will be several similar tables on various pages, each requiring scroll bars.Thx

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] Captcha Image not displaying in Google ChromeHi Mike.
Sorry for not responding, but I haven’t been on this forum for a while. I never really resolved this issue, but it appears to be local to my PC only. There is so much crap loaded on my machine, I haven’t the time to troubleshoot, but since the issue doesn’t appear using another pc, consider it resolved.
Thx

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] Captcha Image not displaying in Google ChromeApologies regarding my delayed response/reply. Haven’t been online for a few days. I tried disabling all the Chrome Add-ons and still have the issue.
I will test using another PC within the next few days and see what happens. I’ll post an update once done!

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] Captcha Image not displaying in Google ChromeMorning Mike
Thanks for the prompt response. I truly wasn’t expecting a reply on the weekend, so most impressed ??I am using the same version of Chrome, but using Windows Vista (one day when I’m big – I’ll buy a notebook with a new OS)… I’ll see if this issue prevails using a system with later OS version and revert.
Thx

Thanks for the prompt reply. I fixed the issue last night & will advise what I did for others. Initially, I tried deactivating & re-activating the plugin with no luck. So, I deleted the plugin and then immediately re-installed it and it worked (somehow, somewhere, it kept all my settings intact and I assume this was because of the Cache).I also have an issue with the HTML not working for the descriptions, so hoping this update will fix it… Will advise!
Thx again

In reply to: How to control my site's "description" in google?@aikuzo
This post is a little old, but since it’s not closed I thought I’d add to the comments and hopefully it helps you:The description used for your site/page should NOT exceed 160 characters, if you want it to read in full in the Search Results Pages. I’ve found that using a few less than the prescribed 160 characters (157-158) works best.
