In reply to: [SurveyMe] [Plugin: SurveyMe] DuplicationsThe default form produces the same results. Verified that the form is only being submitted one time. I really don’t have time to go through the disabling plug in routine. There’s another plug in I can use, but it doesn’t support surveys on pages, only posts and that is why I wanted to use yours and you’ve got great options for formatting questions.
Now about the form I created. It’s a basic form that I added 1 question to with 5 options, just to test. Nothing fancy.I’m actually thinking to just have one developed just for my use and my specifications. It won’t be free, but it won’t be overpriced either or require an annual payment, but I know it will work at least.
I’m super busy too and it doesn’t help (my busyness) to install a plug in, with the expectation of it working, find out that it does not, then spend more time that isn’t available in the first place trying to understand why it’s not working, contact the developer twice by email and then once through these forums and have all correspondence go into a black hole. Being busy is a non starter. Whose not busy these days?
Thanks for the reply socialproilr. I am aware of the boundaries you have listed. All the videos on my site are not youtube but many are and of the many that are the plug in only recognized one out of about 50, or so. I think what is so irksome is that the developer has chosen not to respond in any manner? He could say, “Tough Luck” won’t work in your environment and that would be ok, but to be completely under the radar is just not acceptable.
Just a comment, but it really stinks when someone authors a plug in that does not work properly (others are saying the same thing I am) and then does not provide support or doesn’t reply to posts here.

In reply to: Automated Multi Site Creation Does Not WorkWhat is interesting (that I’ve learned) is this.
After not receiving the message and not finding the site or the user listed when I logged in as super-admin I did not see the site, or the user listed (which would be expected since activation hadn’t occurred). Based on this I thought that there was an error in the process, or setup, so I tried to create the site again using the same email address and was told that I could not because the site name and the email address were already reserved for someone else. That was cool. So, I logged back in as super-admin to see if there was somewhere through the dashboard (that I wasn’t seeing previously) that gave an accounting of currently reserved sites and apparently there is no. I did verify the user and the related data to be present in the database, so I guess I’m wondering if I missed something here in terms of getting visibility of ‘reserved’ sites/users etc. It would be a ‘nice to have’ feature.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Automated Multi Site Creation Does Not WorkYes, I know (now) it’s not a wordpress issue. On the phone with the wonderful folks at Comcast right now. Thanks for the support. This is obviously something that will be a big problem as there are sure to be customers (with a comcast email account) who are are going to want a site but then be frustrated because they didn’t receive their activation message and think that I’m the problem.

In reply to: Automated Multi Site Creation Does Not WorkTracking this down. It appears as if comcast and hotamil are blocking the verification messages, though Host Gator says the ip address is not blocked.
