Wonder what happened in this thread. I”m having the same problem. Everything was working fine up until a couple of days ago I use Cpanel not Plesk and then suddenly getting the same errors as reported in this thread. The sites do not show up in the blogs.dir so not sure what’s gong on. I host with Host Gator in a shared environment so it’s all quite odd. I can create the site from super admin dashboard no problem but then the ‘error establishing database connection’ when trying to browse the site.

There is a conflict with Lightbox plus, which is one of my favorite plug ins. I deactivated it and all is working now.

Same issue here with Genesis.
Did you try adding code using Genesis Simple Hooks plugin?

Your answer is a bit general and hopefully you can provide clarification.
I’m aware that I can create a sign up page template and am actually using a custom designed sign up page, but can the 3rd level domain in an MU environment have their own sign up page with their own colors, logos etc so that anyone registering for an account form their site are constrained within the walls of the 3rd level domain?
As it is now (in terms of how I’ve been able to get it to work) a new user who clicks on the register link from the 3rd level domain goes to the sign up page for the TLD and is a user for the entire network.

Never mind, I found it.

Well go figure. I took the survey again this morning (didn’t delete any plug ins or anything) and all seems to worked this time. Also on another subject I didn’t see any allowance for email notification when a survey is completed. Am I missing something?

The only work around I can see at this point is (using your plug in) would be to save the excel results in a Access D/B and then use the Access remove duplicates query.

Well interestingly enough after installing the other survey plug in it also duplicates answers in the database. This is very bizarre. I should mention that I’m in a multi-site environment and the site I’m using both plug ins on is the sub-domain. I can and will test by running the survey on the tld.
