Free, or not, it doesn’t matter. That was your choice. Not mine. And it wasn’t a whine it was a statement of fact. There’s no question that you use the free plug in route to establish a position of credibility and authority in the community as well as support your commercial offers. No problem. Everyone has to make a living. The point is that you push this plug in as “The Best” and it is functional however, you have every bit as much obligation to the community to make sure that it’s fully tested. Your comment seems to be that you hold the user community with some contempt.

Had to toggle 3 times, but then deactived w3total cache and all is working now. However, very frustrating.

Getting the same thing here. Multi sites and non multi-sites category archives throwing 404 errors.

Part of what I want to accomplish is an incredibly easy way for users to find the DVD they’re looking for and maybe using the tag approach is the best way to go but we do self produce and add a new DVD each month so the number in categories in general will increase. Google Keyword research only shows activity against the “Belly Dance DVD” phrase but the Google Keyword tool is not the end all be all on long tail keywords.

Well we cross cateogorize for ease of use.
For example, there will be 3 skill levels, beginning, intermediate and advanced. The minimum number in any category will be four (the beginning category). The largest category is the intermediate with about 12 or 14 and the intermediate-advanced with about 12 as well.
However these could be cross categorized by technique, such as
1. Foundation
2. Layering
3. Drill and Combinations
4. Soft moves
5. Sharp Moves

The number in any one of these could be as small as 2 to as many as 4.

Thanks Louis. Really like the plug in and there are few alternatives. I had it installed on numerous sites, including customer sites and when it suddenly stopped working a few folks weren’t too happy, so hope will be able to keep it current.

FYI, just in case, the plug in was set to network activate. I haven’t tested where the plug in was activated for a single site withing the multi-site environment. I’ll try that later and report back.

Ok newsflash on this thread. While on the phone with Hostgator we ran a d/b repair with no results, then I suggested we deactivate all plugins and batta bing, batta boom the problem is gone. I’ll report back after I nail down the culprit.
