I have been trying to set up a link for Contact Us in the Main Menu of my Website.

I stuffed it up!

In one of the Link setups, I wrote www.remarpro.com thinking that it was supposed to be written there.

I came straight to here. I have tried to get back to get back to my own Administration set up but I keep ending up here.

Is there anyway that I can rectify this problem?

John, before I do anything else. You write ” my wp-config.php ” Do I have that stored some where? Is it mine? Where would I go to get it?

I have stuffed up enough now to worry about whether I will do any more damage. I want to get it right this time around.

Sorry Mark, I had been waiting for a reply and never got notified.

Where would I find this phpmyadmin and how is it used?. I don’t have my website anymore. I don’t know where I would go to retrieve this or what process I need to perform to get it back.

How I got the site changed from what I had, to what I have now, was through changing the .net to .com as the example here showed me.

Once I activated that, the site changed to what is there now.

In order to log on to my WordPress, I use the long character reference from the email that I have been sent.

I have not been able to log straight into the Website. There is a list of https:// with the name of the website and with letters and numbers after them. Are they the links that I can use?

What is a Permalink and where would a person use that? Are they for my own use.

That was something else that I am trying to figure out.

How are they used?

Can you be a bit more informative about that please. To make sure that I understand you correctly, would you be saying that the name of my website is the URL and that the name of my site is the only thing I need to send my people?

Truly, I am ignorant of what I need to do, I don’t mean to be rude and I do want to put it out there.

I have friends that I have invited to leave comments at my website but, they can not because I have not set up an email link that they can use.

I want to be able to send them an email link for them to come straight to my site.

I have nothing set up, at the moment. I have told them about my site and they have confirmed that they are interested in leaving comments.

The hardest thing for me is trying to understand what they mean in the link and external link sections of my Word Press.

It’s like a totally new language that I just don’t understand. I believe I would better understand Chinese that what they write here.
