No this one is not cropping but just stretching in proportion and fitting only height, which I thought would be easier since it is similar to current stretch

One option I’ve also seen is to superimpose a cropped version of same image semi transparent to fill the ‘white space’ created

There is one old file there, but nothing recent so wondered if I got the place wrong.

What is the benefit of this? I already use short slugs. I am told the ? Is bad for caching. Do you know why only 1 site generated it?

These take up a lot of space from what I gather.

Fixed by restoring backups, which caused 100% CPU usage for about 5 min before working. But the error log file in my www folder is empty.

OK that worked now, thanks.
My site is still dead tho, so I guess I didn’t expect it was a DB fault.

So anyone know?
I have the backup zip file. I cna’t restore it

What I mean is the db sql files are from 6 days ago on the server. I ran backup 2 days ago.

Does the DB not backup when I press ‘start/stop’ backup?

That’s misleading. Much plugin data is in the core tables, like the options/posts tables right?

DB is getting large, and I just have a plain old blog with pics in a gallery. Seems a lot of that crap is from multiple imports well due to many WP.com incidents I had with data issues, and yes I also wonder if host performance is affected.

This plan blog with posts/pics has used 100% of my shared CPU several times already, and it’s unbelievable to me how this could happen, so any small help is wanted.

I allocated 128 so it’s not actually using it all.
