@manzoorwanijk I’m really sorry for taking you so much time, but how WP Telegram works with scheduled posts on WordPress? I’m trying to reproduce this problem myself.

We use WordPress Network. We use WP Telegram on two websites. One is configured to send articles to two Telegram channels.

@manzoorwanijk Yes, delay is enabled. Could it be the issue when the post is in draft mode, but Send to Telegram is set to YES?

@manzoorwanijk I still have a problem with duplicate posts. This time the title of post was changed. Could it be that when a title is changed a new entry is added to the queue?

@manzoorwanijk oh well, that could be an issue that I have. Every time I edit an article and it is set to YES, it means that the delay will be updated? For every update it will add +5 mins delay?

If Send to Telegram has the highest priority that means if I edit the post before being sent to Telegram (delay) and set Send to Telegram to NO, it will not publish it? Even if the first time I published it was set to YES?

It depends upon the number of visits to your website. The scheduled posts are sent when someone visits your website after the delay time.

Isn’t that weird requirement for delayed posts? I use this plugin exactly to gain more visitors to my website via Telegram. Could this be changed in future version?

I think you should have a look at Send to Telegram option on post edit page and see if it’s ON. That’s the switch that has the highest priority.

@manzoorwanijk, thanks! I enabled 5 minutes delay and it solved the problem.

But… articles eventually get published but not after 5 minutes delay, sometimes even more…

The second issue is that sometimes edited articles get published. How articles are scheduled? If I publish an article and edit it before WP Telegram publishes it (because of delay), will it be published only once or for every edit?
