You just define a shipping zone with states. It won’t get excluded from any payment method. It doesn’t affects anything.

Then you restrict in our plugin settings. It affects only COD and nothing else.

As for the states, there is a way you can restrict it already.
Create a shipping zone with the state(s) ( zone regions ) you want to exclude or include.
Then in our plugin restrict this shipping zone.

The reason we didn’t created a restriction for the cities is because they are a free text field on checkout, so if you restrict a city name and the customer type it differently( typo, special characters ) the restriction will be ignored.

What’s your opinion?

About the first one.
You mean that should be an option that you can charge the cod differently over specific amount(s)?

Please go to our plugin settings and select “Include Mode” on “Select the restriction mode” option and click “save changes”.

Then add the pincodes of your choice to enable them.

Sure that’s a good idea. But if some products of the order belongs to an excluded category and some other not, should be cod restricted or not? What’s your opinion?

Thanks a lot for spotting this issue, although its a warning not an error ( in a production, well configured server, this warning should never appeared ).

We just published an update eliminating this warning.

Hi chaosm,

We just released an update fixing the issue.
The smartcod method checking if cod is available or not was called on the menus sections because of the ‘woocommerce endpoints’ option on left menu area.

So with a ‘is_checkout()’ conditional everything’s back to normal.

Please update and confirm that everything working as it should.
