I turned of wp-cache (latest version AFAIK) and my site came back instantly. Turned it back on and got the long load to blank page. Really REALLY annoying.

I am still having this problem today. Very disheartening.

Cannot redeclare wp_unregister_globals()(previously declared in /home/xxx/xxx/xxx.com/public_html/wp-settings.php:4) in /home/xxx/xxx/xxx.com/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 3

main page not loading. can still get to admin area. if you google this error several sites show this error.

Any more info on this? I am having the same blank page or “Cannot redeclare wp_unregister_globals()” that shuts my site down for several minutes at a time. It’s really damaging my traffic.

I am having this exact same error since I moved my blog to a new server and accidentally upgraded to 2.2.1

My site is down for about 5-10 minutes. Nothing I do changes the status. Then suddenly it starts to come back. No explanation at all.

I have had enough trouble since moving the site with other weird 2.2.1 issues. But this is really crippling me.
