allen already fixed the problem with the new update..

it might be those feeds are already pulled in and scheduled prior to removing those codes? wait a day or delete all the posts that has that extra field.

thanks for addressing the issue so quickly..

I think what we want is a way to pull in the rss categories not as content but as a way to automatically write the wordpress categories and the plugin categories at the same time.

the process now is i have to go to wordpress (blog post categories) category… add category
next step is to go to rss multi importer (plugin categories) and do the same thing…

and at the bottom of feed to post settings make sure blog matches plugin…

i think this what we want.. is a way to add whatever the rss feed’s category automatically to these two fields…. so we dont have to write the category for them.. and then again some of the categories being pulled had nothing to do with the post..

there is not another plugin that is causing the problems… those codes above caused the problems… what is it intended to do.. pull the rss feeds own tags?

in my other post you wrote that you dont know where these codes came from? you wrote them didnt you?

if you didnt, i think its time you change all your password…

these rss authors are sneaky… I had to use strip tags and add divs in certain places to prevent them from over writing my css. when i confront them on twitter they act like they did nothing wrong… if these authors dont want people to use your content, then get off the internet…they’ll put extra divs where it is obvious that it doesnt belong or certain tags in their posts on purpose to mess up your content or excerpt..

its not like we dont give these authors credit for their writings…
i have mine set to …. from source and add the authors name if its available to give them credit for their work… and a link to it also….

if you did not write these codes you have to check to see if you been hack by these a-holes

because the new category field that showing up in the excerpt or content from the rss has nothing to do with the imported post…

It is toward the middle of it. These codes were not present in the previous version.

it is not the categories we assigned but there is a new field that shows up under source settings..

some of the categories are long.

after disabling jetpack…. for a day already

have not seen any problems yet…

i remember activating the shortcode embeds in jetpack…

after looking through their shortcode functions, i see that jetpack attempts to replace and rewrite iframes within the rss and change them to [youtube] etc. somehow it is adding these suspect iframes?????

I also changed all password just in case my account was hacked.

hopefully this solves the problem

never had that problem until a the feeds that came in on 4/16

i can strip iframe but it also blank out jetpacks [youtube] embed. otherwise its just a blank space which looks really ugly.
