Well. I tried what was recommended on the links and somehow ended up corrupting database:( The site come up with a Database error and it won’t even open anymore.
After wrecking my database, I found out that it was my theme files that has spam. All I had to do was delete the theme and reinstall a freshly downloaded copy. Sigh.
I tried to recover by restoring my backups (one is an automated WordPress backup that gets emailed to me and the other is an export of my site) with no success. I must be doing something wrong because they come back with Database error as well.
Oh, well. I guess I will start out with a fresh site for now ??
I signed up for some WordPress classes in September. Maybe I can figure out then to recover my older posts.
