@all: unfortunately I don’t have time at this point to dive into an update. When I can find some time I will. Meantime I invite everybody to have a look at the code and come up with a fix. I am more than happy to implement it and give credits to the participants. Co-creation is part of open source!
Thanks in advance

Yideaz, thanks for donating! Enjoyed the hot drinks!
Cool, coffee at last ??
Hi Holden2,
Yes that is correct, the plugin is meant to do cloning AND domainmapping in 1 go. That is why you need a valid domain for each cloned site.
However I see that many people ‘just’ want to use my plugin for cloning many subdomains or subdirectory sites WITHOUT domainmapping them. Therefore I made an update which will be available later today (or tomorrow) which can do this. So keep your eyes out for the update!
And a thank you with a cup of coffee would be nice (and my first actually). It is a wonder I am still awake without the caffeine.

In reply to: Domain mapping Cloning (WP multisite)I will have a look, send you an email.
Hi Jeansuhas,
This plugin is doing exactly what you want.
I know there are people out there who want to map the same domain to a subdomain which is not working. I think I have to explain this later. For you I would say that you havent setup the domainmapping correctly on your server. I suggest you to follow this article in order to help you set it up correctly.
There are a few steps during the setup which involves settings in the hosting cpanel or directadmin. Some of the steps cannot be executed by yourself but only by the hosting company you hosted your site.See these articles:

hope this helps…
To every one else, I would like some feedback. Is everything working fine now?
Hi kbrady,
Hmm I did not test this for a install of wordpress in a subdirectory…
I don’t think it is wise to make a multi site installation inside a subdirectory. You would end up with domain names like: https://mysite.com/multisite/site2/ or in case of subdomain install: https://site2.mysite.com/multisiteI also don’t know if the domain mapping plugin from Doncha works with your setup. I recommend setting up wordpress in the root of the domain.
Hi Everyone,
This is my first plugin and I did not know there was a forum with questions on this site..
I just released a new version which should support a subdirectory setup.
I tested it briefly, and looks like it works. If not please test it and report any bugs to me.Hope you like this plugin and hope it will save you a lot of time and gives me some time to drink my donated coffees ??
