The way the menu displays on your site is the default for Karuna. If you don’t want the menu to be split into two rows, try adding this piece of code:

Oh, it looks like your site is a free WordPress.com one – you won’t be able to use CSS unless you upgraded to plan Premium or above.

The widgets can be added and reordered as you wish directly from the Customizer.

So it looks like the Social Menu comes from Jetpack, which is included in WordPress.com. To get it on your site hosted elsewhere, you’ll want to install Jetpack (if you haven’t yet):

Is Lodestar still being maintained by AUTOMATTIC (the theme on www.remarpro.com warns that its not, true or false)?

It’s still supported, although it hasn’t been updated for over 2 years.

You’ll want to post to the support forums for that particular theme to get help with that. Here we can only advise about Motif.
