In reply to: PC CPU maxing at 100% following auto-update of wordpressHi Andrew,
From the jquery site (code.jquery.com/jquery) and then downloaded the same minified version of the file.
And Quttera – I’ll zip it up and wetransfer it to you.
Thanks,

In reply to: PC CPU maxing at 100% following auto-update of wordpressI’m going through and updating, and want to get everything on the latest version of wordpress and plugins etc. Also want to move to php v7 on my server, but the theme doesn’t support it.
So once the theme has been updated (or to be honest, replaced) everything will be updated.
In other news, replacing the jquery file worked (was only noticable after a hard refresh though).
Thanks for your help and the link
Leigh

In reply to: PC CPU maxing at 100% following auto-update of wordpressWordfence didn’t pick anything up, nor did Quttera or Sucuri.
But I’ve gone through to the codex page that you linked to, and have run the my site through aw-snap which found an issue in my jquery.js file (v.1.12.4).
I’ve just compared the one on my server (in the wp-includes/js/jquery/ folder) to the original on the jquery website, and there’s a load of gumph at the end in the file in the includes folder.
I’m just going to overwrite the file (after taking a back up!) and will see what happens. I’ll report back.

In reply to: PC CPU maxing at 100% following auto-update of wordpressThanks for getting back to me.
I looked at that site earlier and got the same report, but couldn’t see where it said that the site was hacked.
I can see that it says no malware detected, and that the site is not blacklisted.
It can’t find a firewall (which it wouldn’t) and the only High severity issue that I can see is that the Website is outdated.Could you let me know where it says that the site has been hacked please?

In reply to: Home page and pages load, but posts don't load "correctly"I’ve since upgraded to 3.5.1, but this is still happening.
Does anyone have any ideas at all on what could be causing this?

In reply to: Home page and pages load, but posts don't load "correctly"I’ve been running firebug in firefox to see if I can see where the issue is occurring, but nothing is jumping out.
I’m comparing the posts against the load time/actions of index.php, but I’m not sure if I’m looking for the correct thing. At the moment I’m mainly monitoring the load times – but is there anything else that could should any light?
Unfortunately, that didn’t work.
What is the query/stored procedure that the cron job runs to clear down the table? If that’s available, I can run the query/SP manually
Cheers,
PHi there,
Just seen this post and realised that my wp_adrotate_tracker table has 1.4 million rows(!) and is currently 80ish MB… which by the sounds of things isn’t quite right!
I haven’t tried disabling and re-enabling the plugin yet, but if that fails is there any other “clean” way to clear it down to the expected levels?
Cheers

In reply to: "WordPress Already Installed" message on an established WP installI went straight to them last time it happened, and they said it was a plugin hammering the db, but they couldn’t tell me which one… Which was useful!
Ah well, onwards and upwards – thanks for your help on this.

In reply to: "WordPress Already Installed" message on an established WP installThanks Esmi,
I should have checked before I originally posted, as I suspect it was working then, but I’m still interested if anyone has had this problem too…

In reply to: "WordPress Already Installed" message on an established WP installAh – too late, it appears to be working again now!
Sods law and all that, but still interested if anyone knows why this is happening as this is the second time it’s happened now…
Cheers,
