Another update – if the plugin is activated but page caching is turned off, things seem to work. It is not suffice to only exclude the pages with contact forms on them. Minify is also turned off as I don’t use that functionality at all.

As an update – when I deactivate the plugin, contact form 7 appears to work.

I begin to wonder if it has something to do with “nonce” and how often the cache is refreshed (even if the contact pages are excluded from the cache).

Nothing in the firewall log. Nothing showed in WP_DEBUG either. I will turn that on if the problem returns. I had no problems yesterday. I have just included a new SMTP plugin which should give better reliability and excluded pages with contact forms on them from being cached. I will wait for the next ninja rules update and test again.

All is good – it works fine.

I think it is actually working as the message does flash up on the renamed login page.

I have traced it back and this function appears to be NULL and doesn’t get set.

Yes – in fact both sets of changes to correct both problems.

If I use the files from

https://github.com/ahmedkaludi/accelerated-mobile-pages/issues/3546

and

https://github.com/ahmedkaludi/accelerated-mobile-pages/issues/3565

with version 0.9.98.4 all works.

If I use version 0.9.98.5 with these modified files, it also solves both problems but then meta descriptions are not showing.

I have gone back to 0.9.98.4 and just used the github changes and all is working as it should including meta descriptions. Hopefully 0.9.98.6 will get this all resolved.

Yes it is like this on two websites. Yes I am using the most upt o date genesis framework and most upto date wordpress. These sites are both in AMP takeover. An incorrect meta title is taken for all pages. In the SEO settings for the AMP plugin it is set to Genesis.

Just tested a hybrid site so no AMP takeover and it does the same. Title on canonical is correct but not on its AMP equivalent.

Pretty sure we solved this same problem a few versions back. You may like to look at github to see what was done.

I have tried the obvious of resetting then re-saving etc.

I have closed the ticket. It looks like Studiopress have issued version 3.01 due to my feedback which puts 404.php and many other files back.

I was including my own 404.php file in my theme but when things broke under version 3.0, I decided to try your plugin which didn’t work either. I haven’t tested your plugin under version 3.01 but I guess it will now work.
