In reply to: [Advanced Ads –?Ad Manager & AdSense] Some images no longer visibleThanks Henning,
The image code doesn;t seem to work anymore… not sure what changed.
Anyways, I implemented a work-around by uploading the advertiser’s image it into my website’s phot library.

Hi Henningaa,
OK – I didn’t realize I could set-up different Ads for different devices. Perfect!
Thanks,
Mark
ActiveCaribbeanTravel.comOK, Thanks for the help!
FYI – My Theme Support folks state that there’s still ‘something wrong with Lazy Loading’, but the pages seems ok now.

Hi Anton,
I disabled Jetpack’s ‘Site Accelerator’ completely and the page looks OK.
What do you now see as the width / height?
Mark
Thanks Adam,
FYI – I do not have a CTA button and the embed page is only accessible via social media links.
I’ve now enabled the embed’s inline tracking option…
OK, so while I find it hard to believe, I’m going to assume that the reason for the mismatch is the “Allow already subscribed user to submit the form” option setting and I’m going to move on with my life.
Thanks again,
Mark
Hello,
Any help is appreciated…
Thanks,
Mark
Hi Nastia,
I have the Akismet plug-in for spam – That’s it.
FYI – WRT Hustle… I have a Pop-Up and an Embed active.
I just did a test of the Pop-Up from a mobile device and it worked fine (counter went up on dashboard + was added to email list).
I also did a test of the Embed from a desktop… The dashboard counter has not increased yet, although it was added to the email list. Hhmmnnn… Another / different issue?
Frustrating…
Mark
Hi Adam,
Thanks for your response. Here’s my feedback to your questions:
– Always set-up for local email list
– The “Allow already subscribed user to submit the form” option is NOT enabled
– Viewer’s Privacy settings –> “Submission Retention” set to FOREVERProbably not what you were looking for…
Please advise as to ‘next steps’ to troubleshoot this issue.
Thanks,
Mark
Thanks everyone for your input / help…
After working on my site for a week with the old editor, I re-installed Gutenberg and disabled Smartcrawl and I’m now able to edit my posts / pages!
Thanks Christoph!
Thanks to everyone who has weighed in!
Yup… Disabling Gutenberg has resolved the problem. I did not try disabling all my other plug-ins or switch my theme – I am trying to run a website here…
I hope some folks are working on the issue so we can return to Gutenberg at some point
Mark
Hi t-p,
OK,
I disabled browser extensions (via Google Chrome Advanced Settings – Restore Settings)
No change
I added the debug command as per step 2 of the javascript troubleshooting…
No change
The problem still exists.
Please advise of next steps / Thanks,
Mark
Oh… I skipped Step 2 because I don’t recall how to find the wp-config.php file…
Dimitris,
Thanks – I made the change, however it appears (from Bing Webmaster tools) that I still have ‘multiple descriptions’ on >50 pages…
Using Google search, I see that my correct/updated META descriptions are not always being displayed. Not sure if this is due to SmartCrawl, Hummingbird, Easy WP or something else.
Testing continues…
Mark
Hi Kasia,
I’ve spent 10s of hours customizing my Meta Descriptions via the Easy WP plugin.
I didn’t realize that SmartCrawl was going to generate it’s own meta description – Now my SEO effectiveness has decreased due to multiple/conflicting descriptions!
Can you make SmartCrawl ‘recognize’ the custom descriptions from Easy WP, or is there a way to stop SmartCrawl from generating an unwanted version of the meta descriptions?
Thanks,
Mark
Hello Dimiris,
Sorry, I don’t know how to set-up a staging environment. Can you point me to some simple instructions?
