This plugin does not get data form server side, it doesn’t matter where your server is, the api data will be download directly on visitors web browser only, so try to fix your network connection problem will do the trick.

Try to visit https://corona.lmao.ninja/all on your browser, if you can not get anything, it means your network is misconfigured.

Clear your web browser cache, check your network and DNS settings till you can get data from URL above, then this plugin will work.

The red line problem is indeed a css conflict which I will push an update to solve it.

About the white space on the right, sorry I have no clue about why this happened, the plugin didn’t apply any css on html tag or body tag, you should check your theme too about this issue.

Try to delete and reinstall the plugin, use wordpress built-in plugin editor to modify the code.

It’s in wp-admin -> Plugins – Plugin editor.

Find Coronavirus data in top right, then select admin – > class-corona-virus-data-admin.php

Replace the “C?te d’Ivoire” with “civ” in line 208

Hi try to make “C?te d’Ivoire” to “civ”, witch is its ios3 code.
like this:

<option value="civ" <?php selected( $options['cov__select_field_0'], 'civ' ); ?>><?php _e('Ivory Coast','corona-virus-data'); ?></option>

After that you should select this country and save again.

I don’t know why API authors are keep changing the C?te d’Ivoir keywords form one to another, maybe tomorrow will be another keywords..

One temporarily solution here:

1 use a text editor(like Notepad++, textmate) open corona-virus-data\admin\class-corona-virus-data-admin.php

2 Search and find “Ivory Coast” in line 208, replace the fist and second to “C?te d’Ivoire” or “CIV”

3 Save this php file, go to your setting page reload it, choose C?te d’Ivoire form the selector, hit save settings.

4 Data should be there in your front end.

I will wait a few days to see if it is fixed on C?te d’Ivoire or another words, then I will push an update.

The data in table is sort by confirmed cases now, so there is no way to put a country in top of all, it’s all dynamic.

However you can use the shortcode [cov2019] to show the basic data (including your country) in any of your posts or pages.
