That is the standard formula answer I’ve seen cut and paste dozens of times for others with this problem, but it doesn’t make sense. Look at that post in wordpress and in facebook. The image being published is nowhere in that post. In fact, the only image anywhere on that page is my headshot which would not be a bad alternative.
Ok, this post doesn’t fit that problem. the graphic is much bigger than 200X200
As a happiness engineer, do you think maybe that’s a feature that jetpack users would like to have? Maybe even a warning when trying to post graphics that are too small to facebook, that would also seem useful.
Thanks Richard, I thought the images were large enough, but I went back and looked. Sure enough a few of them snuck by me and they were the culprits.
How can I change the default picture that gets sent to facebook instead when that happens? The one that somehow got chosen is probably the most inappropriate choice possible.
I’m having the same problem. Instead of posting the featured image to facebook, it is posting another image from my library. I would think it random as there is no logical reason for it to choose that image except that it is always the same one.

In reply to: Jetpack Publicize Default ImageI wish mine would use my gravatar image. It would be a lot more appropriate than the random image in my library that it seems to have chosen.

In reply to: Connecting self hosted blog with wordpress.comI do have Jet pack. It doesn’t seem to do that unless I have my settings wrong.
