In reply to: [Facebook] [Plugin: Facebook] Known issue with Social Pluginsfacebook has been reeeeallly sloooowww for the last two days. Hope it has nothing to do with stocks falling apart.
Happened to me too. Comment section disappeared, which means now no comments, since fb plugin disabled wordpress comments (genious!). Also, no like button, no recommend button. All that is shown is “view all x comments” and fb feature that are implemented directly from fb (like the fan page badge). Developpers would be very nice and much more honest if they advised us they are discontinuing it. But I really think I will discontinue this plugin myself.
I am sorry, I think I didn’t make my self enough clear. I was not asking for your help further on this matter. I wanted to say anything concerning auto thickbox was solved and for the rest I would seek for help of others (including theme support) or anyone else in the world but not this forum. And I thank you for your patience in pointing the problems, which is really something not always usual with plugin developers. I have also quoted your plugin a 5 star. So, please, don’t be mad at me.
Thanks again. I think problem is partially solved. I went to see the widget you mentioned, it had no tags, and the “automatically…” checkbox was not checked. I think this may be a bug, or whatever. Thank you anyway I will correct the links as you told me.
I really appreciate your help.Yes, for instance the page you mentioned. The second code I have seen it when debugging it, but can’t figure out how it appeared there. I will contact people to help me on that. Thank u very much
@attosoft thanks for your response.
Actually, if you look this post https://www.jardimdecalateia.com.br/heliconia-angusta-heliconia-vermelha/
you will see thickbox working normally. I see javascript error ocurring with plusone from google. I am not an expert, but I think the error is not ocurring on page load, but on the backend, cause class thickbox is not being set on the last posts…I mean, using TinyMCE along with Shortcodes has always worked. But the visual editor, that is, when you click the {} on the wp editor, stopped working. Any idea why this should have happened?

In reply to: [Facebook] [Plugin: Facebook] Mentions API, 1.0.3 and commentsbtw I was using 1.7, now I have undergraded it to 1.6 to see if this could work, but na…
I have checked your faw:
1. Can you see the HTML source codes bellow in your blog?
Inside the <head> tag:
<link rel=’stylesheet’ id=’thickbox-css’ href=’https://example.com/wp-content/plugins/auto-thickbox-plus/thickbox.min.css?ver=1.x’ type=’text/css’ media=’all’ />
Inside the <head> tag or before the closing </body> tag:<script type=’text/javascript’ src=’https://example.com/wp-content/plugins/auto-thickbox-plus/thickbox.min.js?ver=1.x’></script>
If you cannot see these tags, you may need to modify theme files because some WordPress themes do not output proper header/footer.And if you see duplicate <link href=”thickbox.css” /> or <script src=”thickbox.js”> tags, you may need to modify theme files or other plugins to avoid confict with this plugin because some WordPress themes and plugins output these tags in a wrong way.
For instance, Events Calendar plugin outputs <link href=”thickbox.css” /> tag directly without calling WordPress function. As a result, improved thickbox.css has been overwritten with built-in thickbox.css, then ThickBox window layout has broken.
2. Can you see class=”thickbox” attribute in tag?
This plugin sets class=”thickbox” attribute to links to images automatically. So tags like below must have class=”thickbox” attribute.
<img src=”image_s.png” alt=”foo” />
Text
3. Try to use built-in ThickBox resourcesAccess ‘Options’ page, and check [ThickBox Resources – Use WordPress built-in thickbox.js/css] option. If ThickBox will work, there will be issues in Auto ThickBox Plus.
1. seems fine
2. no
3. tried, doesn’t work.I know my theme is compatible with your plugin. I have been using both for more than 3 months. And nothing happened before. I am sure this happened after latest update, but I reckon this might be due to something else. Other plugins have upgraded too, but I just noticed it after you and jetpack updated. Please, give me some answer here.

In reply to: [Facebook] [Plugin: Facebook] Og url specifiedI disabled the yoast wordpress-seo open graph feature, now it returns me this:
Object at URL https://www.jardimdecalateia.com.br/heliconia-angusta-heliconia-vermelha/ has og:type of ‘website’. The property ‘article’ requires an object of og:type ‘article’. (http response code: 500)probably this is a fb plugin problem. I have no clue on how to solve this
No, not at all. I activated it just to check this, but it seems there’s no problem with that.
@spherer
You’re right, it’s always been a bad feature, and WP should improve it. However, after deactivating wp-seo it did improve a bit. For example, after the update, when ever using ul it would the html would turn like this:
<ul> <ul> <ul> <ul> <li>text</li> </ul> </ul> </ul> </ul> <ul> <ul> <ul> <ul> <li>text</li> </ul> </ul> </ul> </ul><ul> <ul> <ul> <ul> <li>text</li> </ul> </ul> </ul> </ul>
Literally, besides, the one paragraph being<p style="text-align:center;"></p>
the other<p style="text-align:justify;"></p>
Would turn into a single<p style="text-align:center;"></p>
which stopped ocurring after deactivating. I am sure you can prepare html drafts on notes and simply copy and paste. I do that for some sort of posts on my website, but not for all, for most of them don’t need it. And of course, using the visual editor, although not always accurate, may be very practical depending on the work you’re doing, and who you are working with. Most people are not used with html, and the visual has worked fine to my collaborators so far, untill this update started working odd. And it is a matter of the WP-Seo, cause it all started after update, and stoped after deactivation.
Moreover, recent wp-seo has come with an opengraph feature, which is conflicting with proper facebook plugin, and it shouldn’t. I have posted a thread here on this, but it hasn’t been answer by joost. Which is a shame.
