At the weekend I talked to a colleague about the problem with the Internal Link Juicer. He has the same settings as me: site with WPRocket, staging environment without caching. And he has the same problem. In March 22, he contacted support about it. Result: Support doesn’t know what the problem is.
After this information, I have the impression that WPRocket is not the problem, but the Internal Link Juicer. I will therefore now look for an alternative. Because if the problem still exists after more than a year, the plugin is faulty.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Data Tables Generator by Supsystic] Take care of the last Update!!!Hi Daniel,
if links are gone after an update, they are gone. Then it is of no use if I write an email to the support. But if I write this here, it may prevent other users from having the same experience as me.
Nevertheless, I’m sticking to my guns, if this happens again, the plugin is out!
Best, Inga
I’ve been a few days out of office.
Thank you for your reply. Is there any idea how to solve the problem? Or shall I ask the support of WPRocket too?
There is a misunderstanding here. I have migrated a duplicate of the main domain to a new subdomain. Apart from WPRocket, the new subdomain (stage) is 100% identical to the main domain. And yet fewer internal links are set there than on the subdomain. Please have a look at the new scrrenshots I posted 2 days ago.
Thank you, Inga
No, I didn’t cleared the cache (WPRocket + Browser). I did that right now:
https://jahreszeitenkueche.de/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/ilj20.jpgAfter that I deactivated WPRocket and refreshed the index again:
https://jahreszeitenkueche.de/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/ilj21.jpgAfter activating WPRocket again, I refreshed the index once again:
https://jahreszeitenkueche.de/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/ilj22.jpgThen, I activated the debug mode und refreshed the index again:
https://jahreszeitenkueche.de/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/ilj23.jpgIt tooks a long time until the index was refreshed. So I thought nothing was happening so I restarted the process. (You will see that in the debug.log):
https://jahreszeitenkueche.de/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/debug.logIs that helpfull for you? Anything else I can do?
It is still strange, but it seems that WPRocket is the cause.
Nevertheless the differences between the main and subdomain are still very large.
Thanks, Inga
I had just the idea, to rebuilt the index again to see what happens now. Strange, isn’t it?
You know what I made today? With Duplicator I made an exact copy of my blog to see what happens. This is axact 1:1 except WPRocket. This plugin I had to delete.
After that I rebuilt the index on both sites The diffenrecies are very strange:- main: https://jahreszeitenkueche.de/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/ilj10.jpg
- stage: https://jahreszeitenkueche.de/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/ilj11.jpg
Some more Screenshots for from the example-post “Tomaten-Chili-Chutney” (stage). All keywords are set in their particular posts. I checked that.Don’t wonder that there now more internal loinks than before. I just create content for the CPT “Zutaten”

- https://jahreszeitenkueche.de/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/ilj17.jpg
Any idea to explain this difference? Or do I have to set something somewhere that I’m not thinking of? I am at a loss.
Thank you, Inga
The difference in content between subdomain and the main domain is:
Subdomain vs. main- published posts: 130 vs. 147
- published pages: 17 vs. 19
- CPT “Bücher”/posts: 25 vs. 27
- CPT “Zutaten”/posts: 3 vs. 11
- links in the index: 220 vs. 234
- configured keywords: 292 vs. 352
All posts and pages are identical except for those that are newly added. I migrated a copy of my blog to the subdomain using the duplicator.
When I set up the CPT “Ingredients”, I deleted some taxonomies on the main domain that were no longer useful. It may be that I also deleted some keywords for the Internal Link Juicer in this context, but I don’t remember that. Is there any way I can find out if there are differences between posts (sub vs. main) without having to open each post?
Also the settings in the Internal Link Juicer are the same. I checked this yesterday. So yes I don’t understand why the internal linking has so many differences.
As already written, I use Blocksy with Gutenberg.
The only plugins that are NOT installed on the subdomain are Updraft and WPRocket. I already suspected WPRocket to influence the internal linking. But nothing changed after I disabled WPRocket.
All plugins are updated on both domains immediately when there is a new update.I don’t use Lite Speed Server and neither does Wordfence. Even if I did, it would be on both domains.
Do you need more information? let me know. Or do you want to try something? No problem.
Thank you
Thank you for explaining that no links are accepted. This was just an idea to make the problem easier to solve.
I have 16 failed actions in the action planner. None of them belong to the Internal Link Juicer. Screenshots for you:
Screenshots for dich:

Maybe you have an explanation for this.- https://jahreszeitenkueche.de/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/ilj1

Attached I send you screenshots of the settings I made in the Internal Link Juicer. Maybe you see something I should change. The example post “Tomato Chili Chutney” has ID 6142 and is not blacklisted.

If you need more information, let me. It is very important for me that the Internal Link Juicer works reliably.
Thank you,
Inga
Thanks for the screenshots.
Yes, I rebuilt the the button on the dashboard. Because I have a copy of my blog on a subdomain. There everything is works. By trying to find the mistake i tried everything. Also to rebuilt the index.
I f helpfull I can send you screenshots from the action scheduler. But for what specific are you looking for? The action scheduler has 129 pages with “ilj_” (2023-05-19 – 2023-06-18). Alternately I can offer you a temporary login without password.
Thank you!

In reply to: Sticky Post and ShortcodesHi James,
on my blog page is that okay and a very nice possibility. But (I repeat myself) not on pages with a special shortcode. I have to accept that.
Thank you.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Sticky Post and ShortcodesHi James,
that’s what my theme-developer told me, too.
Sticky Posts will _always_ be displayed first, no matter what order is set.
I agree with that. BUT, when I define special posts, which should be display does not mean that the sticky post also should be display. That is the thing I don’t want, whether this is the normal behavior or not. Is there a way to suppress this?
There is no need für me to rethink for what I’ll using sticky posts.
Thank you.
No, no, all I did, was to change the php version from 7.4. to 8.0.
I’m also glad, that it works now.
Now I have the complete statistic. The only thing I changed is the php version from 7.4. to 8.0. can there be a connection? (Nethertheless it is strange, because on the other sites the php version was until this morning 7.4.
Thanks, Inga
The “Linkindex” on all sites is 100% and the status is “Build complete”.
Nothing changed after changing the setting “maximum amount of links per page” as you described.
Thanks,
Inga
