hmmm I don’t have a backup of database, but everything I have posted up until now is still showing. Do I still need to wipe database?

Will search the forum now. Thanks

    I got a similar problem.

Although I am a web designer I don’t know anything about servers and databases, would you be able to give me some directions as where to do this: “I set all permissions on the wp-content from 755 to 777, and now it works.”

I got some control panels through my hosting company (www.one.com) but I don’t know what to look for to set these permissions.

I am having problems saveing photos so I have just tried the recommended plugin. I do get hte plugin but I am still unable to upload photos I now get this full blown error:

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Any ideas?

Hi I had the same error with an older version of wordpress. From one day to the other it just stopped allowing me to upload images and I got this error:

    Unable to create directory /customers/fransgaard.eu/fr
    ansgaard.eu/httpd.www//../../../../../../../../../../..
    /../../../../../../tmp. Is its parent directory
    writable by the server?

I thought it was the hosting company’s fault but they can’t seem to find anything on their side, so I upgrade to the latest verison of wordpress.

This didn’t solve the problem either. I can still post but unfortunately I still cannot upload photos, the error has change to just say “HTTP ERROR” now.

Does anybody know a solution to this?
