I wanted to point out a couple of things: one is that I was I fact asked if I deactivated all plugins and changed the theme. I realize this is a stock answer but it’s still frustrating to see it as it is a waste of my time and only prolongs fixing the issue. It may not have been said explicitly but the allusion is that this is a user error and nothing to do with the plug-in.

To provide some context I’ve been getting this same stock answer dealing with other technical issues regarding different plugins (that did turn out to be plug-in related after all) so at this point once I had to deal with CartFlows as well I had zero patience left, so maybe I read too much into the responses.

I also did not receive a screenshot or video either.

Still, I don’t see how Express Checkouts is supported as is, you have to rely on functions to enable and place them, and they have no link to the products at all, so when you switch back and forth between different product selections the default product details in Google/Apple Pay remains the same.

This has been a completely frustrating experience overall, a funnel that I expected to set up in an hour has now instead stretched into a week with no resolution yet. I’m angry but I should have been more patient and charitable so I apologize for that. I will of course adjust my review if this can still be resolved and I’m able to use the plug-in as expected.

Thanks in the meantime, I’m excluding searches into the WP Mail SMTP Pro folder so I can run String Locator properly.

I figured it out, our old theme doesn’t create unique page IDs but I found another unique identifier I could target.

Thanks, I actually tried that but our category templates for the theme is garbage, so it made the adverts look awful. We are planning to update our theme in a major project, but I think for now I just need to hide the amazon ads as a better quick fix.

Do you know how I can apply the CSS to JUST category and location? Usually when I do custom CSS it’s for the entire website. ??

Thanks, I actually bought the extension bundle so I am glad to see we won’t need it when we use WooCommerce, but it’s the perfect temporary fix for now. Thank you!

Thanks, it looks like it’s related to our custom theme. We switched to WordPress’s 2020 theme and the problem went away, so that seems to be the culprit, that paired with the most recent WordPress update which finally broke it. We’ll have to make this part of a larger redesign project now as the theme is very old and needs to be junked anyway.

Thanks for the response, using the latest version, 7.0.15 and the latest version of WP on a PHP 7.3 environment.

I’ve since created a staging clone to deactivate all plugins but the problem still persists, so I can confirm it’s not plugin related.

This might have been a one-off, I haven’t seen any issues since checking, but if it happens again I’ll report back here (with maybe a fix if I managed to resolve it). have a good weekend!
