In reply to: [The Events Calendar] How to: Share events on social media?Hello @djrkd,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
You’ll need Event Automator along with Zapier to get the automation. I can only share limited information on Event Automator since it’s our Premium Add-ons, please create a ticket on our HelpDesk if you require further details. We should be able to answer all of your questions there.?
I’d be closing this thread, and we’d be glad to help you out on our HelpDesk. This is for us to follow WordPress Forum Guidelines regarding premium plugins.
Thank you.
Hello @thekendog,
I’m glad to hear that enqueuing the styles in the customizer did the trick.
I’ll be closing this thread, and please do not hesitate to bump a new thread on our way. This is for us to track down topics/issues efficiently and for us to follow the WordPress Forum Guidelines.
Hello @thekendog,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
Do you happen to have any caching on a plugin or server level? If any, exclude our CSS and JS files from getting cached and see if that helps – https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/caching-basics/.
Also try to dequeue our JavaScript files and see – https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/dequeuing-javascript-files/.
I hope that helps.
Frank
Hello @rakeshsaitech,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
I checked and was able to reproduce the issue – https://share.zight.com/04u8LdBw.
This is a known issue related to our settings for legacy ticket views. To fix this, head over to?Events > Settings > Display > Ticket and RSVP Display Settings?and check the box for?Enable Updated Tickets Experience?and save the settings. This should solve this issue.
?
Refer to –?Enabling Attendee Information for Tickets.Best regards,

Hello @jrevillini,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
Try flushing permalinks by following this article – https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/permalinks-best-practices/.
If it doesn’t help,
I suspect there’s a conflict that’s causing the issue here. It would be good to test for conflicts. Could you follow the following steps?
- Deactivate all other plugins except for The Events Calendar Plugins.
- Switching to the Default theme.
Please read the Testing for Conflicts article before doing anything.
To be safe, we’d recommend conducting tests and updates on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website.
If it still won’t budge, for me to understand and learn more about your setup, could you provide the following version of the following at Events > Troubleshooting?
- PHP
- WordPress
- The Events Calendar
- Theme and Version
- Custom Tables Migration Status
- Custom Tables Health Check
- What do you see at Events > Settings > Upgrade
Please do not share everything so as for us to follow the WordPress Forum Guidelines.
I hope these help. I am excited to hear back from you.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Google no index for all event pages requiredHello @bkiehle,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
Add this meta tag in the <header> of the page:
<meta name="robots" content="noindex">
It may take about a week or more for meta robots noindex to take effect on your page.
Refer to our article for more information on how to restrict event indexing – https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/seo-and-performance-issues/
I hope that helps. Do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything else.
Hello @sao987,
I checked and there isn’t a function named
privacy_policy_guide()
in the WordPress core. However, WordPress does include functionality related to privacy policies, especially since version 4.9.6, which introduced tools for GDPR compliance, such as the Privacy Policy page template and privacy-related features. So it’s not from The Events Calendar plugin. You can see there’s no plugin installed on this site but there’s Privacy policy guide – https://share.zight.com/Wnu8rnz1.
Best regards,
Frank

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Ticket order stuck on “Pending” statusHello @artemissociety,
Thanks for your replies.
From the screenshot you shared, I can see that the customer paid with iDEAL on Stripe.
We have an internal ticket ET-2082 that’s addressing this issue and I’ve included your use case in it to communicate it to our team.
We prioritize bugs by taking into consideration the number of users impacted as well as how the bug impacts one’s ability to run an event/sell tickets. I don’t have a specific timeline as to when this issue will be resolved, but trust that our team is aware. Our team communicates updates and bug fixes in our newsletter and via our changelog.
I’m happy to help if any other questions are coming up around this topic, otherwise I’ll go ahead and close this ticket.
Thanks again for reporting this issue and for using Event Tickets! Have a great day.

Hello @sao987,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
Privacy Policy Guide is a built-in WordPress feature that provides a text template to help you create a privacy policy page. We don’t have control over it, and it doesn’t appear to be deletable.
Thank you.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] events overview – same image sizeHello @preeparee,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
To best assist you, do you mean to see if you can expand the feature image that shows on the list calendar view, to look bigger on their single event pages?
If yes, then I believe that’s the exact size of the original image. So you’ll need to make a bigger size of it and upload it on the single event, for instance – https://demo.theeventscalendar.com/event/meal-planning-for-weight-loss/2024-06-01/. The calendar views will resize it to a square size.
I hope that helps.
