Thanks a lot.
– the full conflict test did not give any result
– storefront made the pages really ugly, i’am sorry to say
– custom code I do not use
– disabling all plugins, but keeping Kadence theme worked!!
Obviously all pages were a mess because of plugins for layout, but they were all consistent messed up.
I then started to activate plugins and found that the Kadence Blocks plugin caused the problem.
Just some work to remove those blocks, but vthats worth it.
So I believe the problem is solved.
