THANK YOU! After waiting for help from a few different directions, your answer has helped me finally get the GVC verified! What a process. I used the JetPack option and it worked in 2 seconds. Had tried 3 of the Google recommendations to no avail, even though I followed the instructions. Grrr Google for making things so complex some days. Thanks Google for giving on the other hand! I don’t believe this…. I’ve just accessed my original website by accessing my website host created account. ???!!! Too weird and posts above therefore closed.

I’ve logged on to my website host-created WordPress account to find that both versions/sites are now located under that username, etc. Yay and sorry if I gave you a bum steer in my first post. But…
Whilst I can see my original WordPress account in the WordPress Reader screen, if I click on it, I’m told that the page cannot be displayed. If I return to the WordPress Reader screen, a red banner is now under that site icon saying that there’s a JetPack problem. If I follow that, I get to log a help request with Jetpack (which I’ve just done).
Can someone help me access my website please?

Hmm, sorry rdell but… the add a menu feature is not just aback-end image. It’s currently on my live website – psychicandenergywork.com.au – and I’d like to remove it asap.
Can you or someone else help me please?

Thanks for explaining this rdell. It seemed odd because, up until a certain point, it had not appeared on the screen. My first response was to assume that it was an added “extra”. Thank you for helping me.
