All items in my shop are one-of-a-kind or digital/virtual items, therefore no need AT ALL for the UPC codes.
Glad for the less overhead code.

Attached are four photos of sample Shipping settings. (These are a work in progress and have not been fully tested or refined.)

Note, the ShipFree class may not be necessary, but added to allow for individual items to be set as always free shipping.

(Not really happy with the Flat Rate showing, but can tolerate it since the Free Shipping has priority and is automatically checked.)

The following cache plugin has worked properly for my WooCommerce shop. It can be set to exclude specific pages/posts as needed. YMMV

Instead of making a free shipping zone, create areas as zones first, then. . .

For every zone – create individual ship settings. The methods may have similar names, the costs may be set different. Example:

Zone – Australia
? Flat Rate $10
? Orders > $100 = Free Shipping

Zone – Melbourne CBD 3001, 3000
? Flat Rate $15
? Orders > $100 = Free Shipping

(I’m still figuring out the ship settings too, so the example above is untested.)

After setting and clicking the “Flat Rate” setting, a window shows “Shipping Class Costs”
Look for the last line “Calculation Type” and use the “Per Order. . .” setting.

There is (somewhere in the new interface) a setting to use the shipping cost for the more expensive item.

Tried to work with the new Woo-shipping zones/classes, but couldn’t figure out a proper way to manage shipping costs for a purchase of multiple items.

If only I was better at coding. The $23 was worth it in terms of my time.

You can use the plugin TablePress to create the size chart. Then add the shortcode (of the size table) to each product page (or to one of the product tabs). Easy and free.

Have not tested the results with all the various email readers, but the following edit in the email-order-items template looked good (Gmail & Apple Mail):

Could go with a bigger size (18-20px,) but the highlight red “Download” works best for my customers.

However if I had the coding experience to just add a <div> to the template as you suggest I wouldn’t be back for more help. Please can you or someone spell out a sample piece of code needed to place in this area? (I have googled for such samples and have mangled a bunch of test emails to ribbons already.) ??

When one has a very small site with light traffic within a niche market, a $10/month bill is too expensive to handle <50 emails per month. Therefore it’s goodbye to another corporate-minded move with a PR spin saying this will improve service to its customers.

I wrote to Mandrill/MailChimp in January about ended their free account plan (even offered to negotiate a reduced rate) and was assured via email/Mandrill Support:

Looking at your current sending account, it looks like you initially signed up for your account before we made changes to our free plan and therefore you’ll continue to receive the 12,000 free messages per month. So while we made some changes, any users that had signed up before the changes were grandfathered in and won’t see any changes in their current sending plan. . . “

And now the axe has fallen and they won’t honor this at all. You MUST PAY to use this plugin.
