In reply to: [Popups - WordPress Popup] Referrer "google" not workingYes, I cleared cookies.
I am using
– is Admin (for test purposes)
– show on all pages
– not mobile phone
This works.Once I add the Referrer or “user came via search engine”, the popup is not showing anymore.

In reply to: [Shariff Wrapper] Statistiken zusammenführen?Das f?nde ich auch super!
Hi Paul,
thank you for your information. I am afraid it is not so easy to answer if this would comply without asking a lawyer. I am still looking into this.It could be that strictly speaking I would still need the consent of the users to store the address but I am not sure about that. Or that the addresses need to be deleted after 7 days. Or something like that.
But at least it is a lot better than most other solutions which store all IP addresses. ??
Thanks, Fran
Thank you for your answer.
I found an article on your site which says they are needed for the statistics? So if I delete them, statistics will no longer work, right?Yes I asked, the answer was that it is currently not possible to anonymize IP addresses but might be considered at a later date.
I only wanted to express a strong desire for such a feature. The topic came back to my mind because Germany keeps intensifying our data privacy laws.
Kind regards, Fran
Thank you. The answer was, that this is not possible so far. I’d really like to request this feature. In German privacy law we are not allowed to store non-anonymized IPs without prior user consent.
This makes using your plugin impossible for German users if they want to abide to the law.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Ginger - EU Cookie Law] Piwik analytics cookie in iFrame ?You can see it on https://www.migraeneundkopfschmerznews.de/ on the bottom of the page.
Perhaps I don’t correctly understand what the iFrame does? Do you have a documentation for your plugin somewhere?Hi Yorman,
thanks for the quick reply.I had added the lines some days ago and also completed some new scans of the site. But the plugin still reports the three points as missing.
Thank you, I thought it would be the HTML title of the website
