I got this error just now as well trying to upload a 2MB plugin.

I fixed the 413 error by pausing my VPN connection (I had an active HotSpot Shield up at the time). Once I uploaded directly from my own network it went through with no problems.

Hi guys,

I am trying to play with a Child Theme CSS to make the fixes I want (custom image header, changing body font color, etc.). It seems like the changes I am making in the Child Theme have no effect on my blog, even though the child is activated. I am putting all of additions after the

@import url('../wp-creativix/style.css');

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

IWEBIX: I have VERY basic HTML, practically no CSS, and PHP, well that’s another story. With that said, which files in the theme do I want to effect to make these changes? Can you point me to a resource or documentation for a beginner?

Figured out how to get the navigation icons in. You have to go to Edit Theme, then put the links to page IDs in the fields for “Contact” and “Imprint.” For some reason I can’t get “Blog” to work.

Still trying to customize this theme more. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the fix the other day. Got my images and lightbox working now. My new question is whether I can have pages appear in the light box rather than posts? I am trying to manipulate the template to function like a website that shows the pages through the slider rather than just a blog. Suggestions?

LOVE THE THEME! Thanks so much for developing it. Perhaps it is because I am a NooB and not understanding everything that was said on this thread, but I still can’t get the light box to work correctly.

I managed to get thumbnails into the slideshow by placing post images in my theme directory on my host site and then using the custom field to pull the images to the slider. They will not generate, however, in the featured post box (just the slider). I have also tried setting the category ID “Featured” and entered this to the theme options. Nothing seems to work. What am I doing wrong?

Also, how do I customize the theme more? Do I need to recode the PHP Index to move things around or change colors or is there something in the theme options to do this (I saw something for link colors but not main colors)? I was thinking of replacing the purple tones with a dark red.
